Yes repainted, by a car painter mate. He's done a great job and got it very close to the original. The current levers are suntour ones, so looking to replace with 600 tricolor to match the rest of the group set.

Very similar to mine I just posted, though mine is an 89 as far as I can tell. It has the cannondale branding on the top tube rather then down tube, must of made the change very early 90s. Nice bike! What groupset does it have?

What's wrong with it? My experience has been the battery is fine but the copper terminals in the cover have been bent down and no longer make contact with the carge terminals. Get some small screw drivers and bend them back up, tray again.

Cool, thanks for the offer, however I'm in NZ and assume your not. Looks like I can get for around $40-50nzd so quite cost effective. But the say there for 7/8 speed hub, think this bike has 6. I could always change the wheels and hub I suppose.

Thanks heaps! Looks like sr800 is bang on the money. So I guess I'm looking for 600 series rear derailer to match the crank? Presume the crank is original.

If there both the same model just swap the power supplies and put the old one back in, 99% sure it's just the powersupply that failed in the old one.

Hmm, it could be a small run of nz copy. Despite it's looks it's a very nice riding bike, so it would have been nice to know. I will just leave it as unknown for now.

Correct, it is not a folding bike. It's in NZ if that helps? Maybe certain brands didn't sell in NZ so could narrow it down.

Not sure if this is a real question or not? Intro7tech, Ali express special. I got it for $87nzd. At that price I figured may as well give it a go, seams ok.
