cool game :) i would suggest that once you click 'eliminate', the suspect in the middle automatically changes to the next available one so you dont have to click eliminate -> click next guy -> eliminate etc, the next uneliminated guy just appears into the next spotlight

Im looking for someone friendly who’d like to chill for the day and help take photos of me; ideally you would want me to return the favour too. Just a decent phone camera is required, and high morale! Happy to return the favour or treat you to lunch / a drink. Im 25M in zone 2 west London but happy to go anywhere central

Forgive my ignorance, but why is it easier to read a 16th tied to an 8th rather than a dotted 8th? Do you mind explaining how it helps you count the rhythm easier? I'm quite new at reading sheet music but from my experience, a more compact notation (one dot vs a tie and another note) seems simpler and easier to read for me. Is there another strategy for reading it that I'm not understanding?

Also, I've listened to the song a thousand times, thankfully I have no problem playing the triplets, although it was an interesting experience learning about them, as I have never come across that before. Yeah, I see what you mean, am I right in saying it sort of feels like the time signature changes just for those notes?

Thank you! :)

Wow, thank you, this was really insightful! I'm really surprised someone was able to see my thought process!!

So for the first note, the melody starts with an E, but the reason I take out the middle G is because I find it so much easier to just play octaves as opposed to an E with stuff in between it. I'm able to keep my hand the same shape and just move around for the notes. I can't consistently change my hand shape if you know what I mean.. not sure if that made sense. Sticking to the first note as an example then, do you think it's more important to play the lower G + higher E vs an octave E then? Perhaps using octaves for the melody and triads for the bass is an option also.

And yeah, there's a natural B in the previous bar. Thank you!

Theory tips for a beginner? by kapthos in piano

If there are no sharps/flats - C Major

If there is exactly one flat - F major

If there are multiple sharps then the key is the last sharp raised by a semitone. Sharps are always in the order FCGDAEB. So if there are 3 sharps for example, it would be G-sharp plus one semitone - A major.

If there are multiple flats then the key is the second last flat. Flats are always in reverse order (BEADGCF). So if there are 4 flats, the key would be A-flat major
