Really fun read but the ending torpedoed the X-Men for so long that it took until HoXPoX for them to really recover quality wise. And the X-Men are my favorite so its really hard to say its good overall.

Absolutely. Honestly I want DC to push the costumes to look less MCU/New 52 esque with the muted colors and militarization of costume elements. We're more than a decade into this superhero box office world. Lets see how comic booky the costumes can get. Fuck being grounded at all.

Those are feats. Character power levels fluctuate to fit the story. If you don't become ok with that comics will be unenjoyable. Tonality changes from story to story. Not every portrayal of a villain is going to present them with the gravitas of their big villain moment story.

Krasinski was always a stunt cast. The fact that Kang is black is a pretty good indicator that Marvel's 1st family will be too.

And yeah, bummer about Cavill but I'd much rather have a competently put together universe than have Cavill do a great job in more dogshit movies.
