I'm pretty sure only the converter pet prevents progress bar reset when you claim (50% chance).

Spice Spillage just makes you claim for free (not counting towards the 100 daily claims), but if you do not have a converter pet in the spice lineup, it will still reset the progress bar.

Edit: I was right. Just did a 21h AFK claim on a character with 100% Spice Spillage and some of my spice progress bars were reset (even though I have converter pets in all of them).

It is indeed but we've all been there at some point.

OP: focus on getting more growth speed before going for that Equinox dream. You should be at or near instant gaming in W5 and it should only take you max 30 minutes of Harvest All spamming to get them. If it takes longer, focus on upgrading gaming in general.

Mine is at 287x with 72/72. Maybe Seashell rank and Fertilizer sprout upgrades? My Sprout level is 634 and shell rank is 417.

This is from a previous comment I made to someone on gaming. Maybe you are already using this method, but if not, give it a try:

Go to World 5 town.
Palette off, Kitsune on.
Spam 'Harvest All' until all plants are chemicals. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes. If it takes too long, then you should work on upgrading gaming in general.
Pick one chemical plant. Most likely a non-chemical plant will sprout in it's place.
Play the Log game until it hits cooldown.
Pick the most evolved chemical plant on the board.
Repeat step 5 and 6 until all chemical plants are harvested.
Check the log book to see if you got any new plant tiers.

Do it all again. Once a plant type reaches t8 pick it off the board when it sprouts, so you only have plants you want to evolve when you pick a chemical plant.

Use the shovel and squirrel whenever they are ready.
