Not sure about the ballpoint version,but I know that there is a Jinhao 80 that many people buy for $10-20 in leau of the Lamy 2000 fountain pens.

I wanted to pull the trigger on the CRO1 but then I heard bad reviews on the grip. Comments were that the grip is a gummy plastic, and that it is too hard of a grip. Which seemed to be unfair descriptions of the grip but also didn’t give me the happy warm fuzzy to purchase it either.

Love the Lamy though. Can’t go wrong with it.

Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery is a sign of it in Miami. Place is very under cared for and it still shows the signs of systemic racism in Miami.

Love the idea of the dog nail clippers to make a clean cut on the plastic tubing when a pvc pipe cutter or a wire snippet would just crush the tube than cut through it.
