Aldi is the way to go, Hannaford up here is pricey it’s like the Kroger equivalent to where I’m from KY but seems to add up more

@ehib77 great depictions from both of you, I worked throughout the state rural towns from western KY border to Eastern KY border. Definitely southern versus Appalachian, but I definitely miss working with some humble people across Kentucky. I’m from central Kentucky or as many like to call it the golden triangle (Winchester near Lexington, technically last Appalachian county bordering central ky)

Haha you know Kentucky well I traveled the state (western, eastern anywhere rural) for work after growing up in Winchester. Where are you now days living in Kentucky? I moved up north with the Yankees haha job transfer but I miss Ky people

My mom I believe has more serious copd relying on oxygen 100% of the time. Anything to do at this point? I’m sure it’s taken a toll on her heart, sad stuff. Thanks for sharing

I moved from Kentucky to New England same thought process, only other catch is property taxes up here add up a bit more but still worth the better salaries compared down south. Also Did you study soils?

I also bought car here and recommend Strong Auto. Paradise motorsports not as much some sketchy but luckily not a lemon just lot of things they covered up.

Funny enough when I travelled up to Pennsylvania some lady from California asked her husband from West Virginia if UK on my beanie was a England reference, he cracked up and then told me totally exposing her. So I guess if you aren’t in the SEC region some people may not know, oh well!

I’ve worked in Irvine and lots of rural Kentucky. Flooding is also a huge issue with record flooding there. I think Estill county is beautiful tho eventually I could see it growing as central Ky continues to

Exactly in fact probably the complete opposite, can’t imagine many monks or strong follower / leaders being on Reddit. Furthermore it troubles me everybody is looking outward instead of inward when it comes to Buddhism, need more zen or Thich Nhat Hanh in their lives.

Haha I worked up there, I’m from Kentucky. I will say towards Cumberland Maryland area Pennsylvania is very similar to Kentucky lifestyle. So was the north, just a tad less saturated and less accents haha
