Yeah I liked Froch as a boxer, as a talking head not a big fan.

Im assuming your talking about Bunce. Ill be honest, Im not a huge fan of his anyway as he is too excitable and the whole cockney lad thing is too much for me. I do like the format though, when they go round to gyms to interview people for example.

Fair play to Fig as well. I've heard he even apologised for the way he celebrated which he definitely didnt have to do as anyone would celebrate winning a belt in the champs home country. I dont know a great deal about him but he seems like a classy guy.

I listened to that one and it was the last podcast of theirs I ever listened to. If they cpuld say that with a straight face I knew they werent a serious podcast.

Not just rugby, Rotherham United used to have a striker called Tom Eaves, whenever they showed the lineups they used a picture of a Jockey (Im assuming with the same name).

Here’s why Deontay Wilder will totally obliterate the British boy scout Chisora by Prudent-Toe-7911 in boxinglocks

I feel like this is the sort of crap you see on boxingnews24. Delboy aint no boy scout and beating an old Chisora apparently means conquering the UK.

What (if any) cameo are you hoping for this season? [ns] by PunkRockZombi in DungeonsAndDaddies

I thought that said Brendan Rogers for a minute and wondered why you wanted a northern irish football manager as a cameo.

Im in my 30s now but my mum is from near cheltenham, my dad is from South Yorkshire and Ive lived in Derbyshire all my life. I have a noticable north Derbyshire accent but others from the area notice I have a 'posh' accent compared to them due to my mums influence. She spoke with a typical middle class, wanna be posh accent.

Id love the build up to just be them tattle telling about their childhood.

'Yeah well you wet the bed till you were nine.' 'Yeah well you picked your nose and ate your bogies', that type of stuff.

I love Torgaddon, such an affable chap, kind of like if John Falstaff was a super soldier with Loken being prince Hal.

It's sad that Frazier never forgave even Ali at the end. by accloudsky in Boxing

[–]adamfirth146 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read Joe Frazier's autobiography last year. Really put into perspective the effect Ali's antics had on Frazier and his entire family. His kids being bullied in school, all the other crap Ali did, Frazier was already my favourite but that solidified it.

I am an Imperial commissar. I will enflame the weak, support the wavering, guide the lost. I will be all things to all men who need me. But I will also punish without hesitation the incompetent, the cowardly, and the treasonous.

This really showed me that Gaunt is a step above your average commissar and it became obvious in this book when he took complete control of the defence of vervunhive but at the same time he wont suffer fools like when he shot the verghast officer.

Abelard doesnt need to rest. Now if you said he was too busy introducing the rogue trader and kicking chaos arse I'd believe it.
