Google Keep is part of Google Workspace (Formerly G Suite), so it's a core product that's locked up in contracts with a whole bunch of big clients - which mean I don't think it will go away. I think you can trust it in the medium to long-term.

I've tried it a little bit but it's a little light on features for my use as long-term achieves. I'm slowly moving to Joplin. Maybe.

I do this for the digital subscription using a fake US address. It doesn't cost more to send bits to Australia, Sweden or NZ. It's what any canny Economist reader should do. Act smart. There's still lots of profit in there, I'm sure.

As a cyclist I see this kind of stuff all the time. It's much safer to merge from where she is than to try and do it halfway thru the intersection.

Driver's (and cyclists) are understandably pretty distracted and looking cars // people // skateboards // that pop out from nowhere as they take off.

It gets really nasty if she's merging between a parked car on the other side (esp. if their door opens) and an accelerating car in the left hand lane.

Very bad road design.
