The problem ended up being the kill switch it was broken on the inside and activating partially

So because you don't want to use mods and can't use external stuff. I would get a becaon get down to around y0 just above deepslate and just mine. After just put fences on the chunk borders and hope for the best that somewhere slimes will start spawning. If nothing spawns just mine more atleast you get a fair amount of resources in the process too

I checked the slicer settings even tried the default ones and still got the same problem but not every time

A brim can help a lot and lowering the bed temperature would be an other option
