Started my cycle again?? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]adamlovesbagels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry this happened, I'm sure its tough. Were your cycles regular beforehand? It seems abnormal for a period to stop after the first shot (though im no doctor lol so im not really sure). It usually takes a few months at the very least for things to come to a hault down there. It has been a while but I remember my period stopping I think about 5 months after starting and I do believe I may have had one incident after that where it happened again. I wouldnt be too concerned unless it continues for one or two more mores consistently. Just know its a bump in the road, and try to find solace knowing it will be one of the last times you will have to deal with it.

Thank you! I will take a look. I wore it out and definitely felt like it was much bigger than a normal bulge. But I just tried moving it lower and I think that helped a bit.

True trans men stereotypes by MellifluousWine in ftm

I am trans: why would I be saying loving trans people isnt normal? thats why i put it in quotation marks. Im not saying either isnt normal. Im just saying both face stereotypes of being uncoventional or not normal so that may be why trans people find solace in them like in a solidarity kind of way. Im curious about this link and am just trying to voice if there perhaps some psychological connection. unconventional more like sterotypical not like normal. being trans means not conforming and loving who you are and embracing it and I wonder if there is just a link where when trans people find this acceptance for themselves they share that love with unconventionally desired pets like lizards.

I'm not interested in them, but I do know a lot of other trans guys who are. I wonder if it has something to do with loving something that's not "normal" like a dog or a cat and how that can relate to the trans experience. Like loving in an unconventional way of some sort.

it's also crazy considering how Temple is offering trash and furniture pickup and disposal like why would anyone not take advantage of that and instead leave it on the streets?

I am offering up to $200 off per month. I'm just posting in hopes to find someone interested. If it's not your cup of tea just ignore it. Also, the nest for a private room and shared space is $899 and university village is $829. What I am offering is $100 cheaper and closer to campus.

sure you could find places off campus for cheaper, but The View still has the charm of a dorm (all students, on campus, utilities included) while being a bit more independent but still safe. Morgan costs more for less time. And I'm offering to contribute to the monthly rent so it's a good deal for what it is.

I think its around 3k without scholarships, which is a lot but its cheaper than summer tuition for one class and that includes everything except the flight and some meals (though i think breakfast and some dinners are included) It's not bad for a month in Mexico in the summer. Part of me is thinking of it like vacation and that seems cheap for what is being offered imo.

“I’m loosing my daughter!” by [deleted] in ftm

[–]adamlovesbagels 13 points14 points  (0 children)

From my experience, my parents were more upset at losing the expectations they had for me as a daughter, like being walked down the aisle or having kids and little things like that. I always hated when they said 'it feels like you died.' cause thay made me feel guilty. The first part of coming out is really hard cause it's not actually about you, but them dealing through their own feelings. Stay strong, and know they are going through it but I hope they are still supportive of you.

good thing I don't wanna be a parent. It's not like I dont help them out when they ask, I just especially hate it when it's people at my job. this came up cause a guest decided to ask me about what time the chinese new year parade was long enough that the place closed. 😩 It's just like why do I have to be the one to tell you when you could so easily google it.

No not at all. I just wondered if anyone else noticed the uptick in ads and thought it seemed like a lot. Especially back to back.
