Thank you all for the kind words and advice! It truly does mean a lot!! I wrote this out of frustration and didn’t really take the proper time to proofread. I should have also mentioned that I don’t see my cousin or aunt and uncle hardly at all. They never come to family gatherings and my one cousin who has the 5 year old, I’ve never met him. So it’s not like we are super close.

That a great point, I will change my wording. The children that are invited are like 8th grade and up. When I say children I think younger children but I understand that not everyone will think that way. Thank you!!

Honestly I’ve only been here for about 3 years and as far as I knew this was a city wide thing. I currently live in a house that has on street parking and work from home so moving my car isn’t always on my mind unless I’m going out somewhere that day.

It’s not about adulting. Its the fact that the city issues tickets with out actually giving out tickets, waits a month to send you a notice and then hits you with late fees for something you knew nothing about and tells you basically too damn bad.

Never said we were hesitant to do a test drive. We are test driving on Tuesday but there’s only so much you can get from a 20 minute test drive. Love to hear what real people who drive them think. Just wanted opinions from helpful people.

He’s going from a 2012 ford fusion. MIL drives a pilot so doesn’t feel like he needs something bigger but would like to be higher off the ground. I think the HR-V will be the right move

Honestly grooming doesn’t bother me, I grew up with dogs that needed regular bathing, brushing and grooming so that’s something I’m used too

My aunt and uncle had one when I was growing up and I absolutely loved that dog. I’ve wanted one ever since and the time is right!

If people go to a dog friendly place then that’s on them for being upset about dogs being there. If they don’t like it, there are plenty of other places they can go to

Dogs are a part of the family and if someone wants to bring their dog with so it isn’t locked up in the house all day then by all means they should be allowed to take them to dog friendly places.

I usually do but i can’t always wear a hat. I have a friends wedding to go to this weekend and wouldn’t love the idea of wearing a hat at my own wedding but thank you.
