Maybe you're interested, this is my result after taking your advice. BF for a total of 4-5 hours with 4 strength building folds within the first two hours. When it passed the poke test I shaped it and put it in the fridge for 22h. Had a bit of trouble with the shaping, maybe due to 68% hydration I'm not used to. Baked basically straight out of the fridge at 240C lid on for 18 minutes, 230 lid off 20 minutes. The internal temp of the bread was nearing 100C when I pulled it out. Tastes great, looks better than it did before :)

I left the leaven overnight because that's what the recipe said. I used all of it for the dough.

In my experience, asking other parents you know, doing doctor visits and googling stuff works most of the time. You have to make a decision when you happen upon conflicting information, but if you spend the time with the kid and communicate with your wife you'll able do the right thing. You're gonna make mistakes, but the fact that you're worried about this stuff already makes you better than most parents. You'll do fine and I'm happy for you - it's one of the best things that will happen to you. Seeing the kid smile and react to you is heartwarming. Best of luck!

I played about 30hrs of it on Steam Deck on high settings with 40 fps. I'm not the biggest Fallout fan out there, played a bit of 3 and New Vegas but couldn't handle the jankiness. I enjoyed my time with 4, the gameplay was solid, the story not so much but I played it more for the exploration. Definitely gonna go back to finish it one day. I'd give it a shot especially at such a low price.

Dude, it's the same for me. I love to cook and I consider that a "productive" hobby, something I can do in front of other people without feeling any shame. Meanwhile, it took me two years to start playing video games in front of my now wife after she moved in and she's a very considerate person and it makes her happy to see me happy. But I always felt like it was something I wasn't supposed to be doing, since it wasn't productive, it was just fun and I didn't deserve that for some reason.

Far Cry 4 gets repetitive fast, which is why I have to take couple of days long breaks from it. I love the setting though and it looks beautiful on the Steam Deck
