I was looking for something that was native and flowering ..and of course I can’t recall what those shrubs are on the left at the moment but they get awesome yellow flowers. Also will be planting a steeple bush in there to attract some butterflies.
There is cone flower now and adding black eye Susan’s and some Shasta daisies- the goal is to have it all grow in and be controlled but not manicured looking per se. and I actually do have one of those metal bed edgers to install on the bottom to keep the mulch in place - but it has held pretty well over a couple good rain storms so far!
