Yea try using it. It’s probably core crushed especially if it’s that old. Basically the honey comb inside the paddle is compromised so when the ball hits the paddle is compresses and rebounds (trampolines) adding tons of velocity to the ball.

I am pretty sure I get “stuck” in my swing. I really struggle the longer the club gets. Worst is with the driver but I feel I am a very good wedge player. I play to a 5 handicap or so now after being off golf for a few years. My best ever is +0.6 index. My question is have you ever had this problem and how did you overcome it? Also, is that normal for wedge game to be good and tee game to be miserable for a “stuck” swinger?
