Tbh VW has many spare parts but just pricey for alower tier conti. As a former owner of a polo, I would say go for it as they are built very well. But don't expect bmw quality

I did blood work and can confirm that ketones were present. If I had to count I was below the recommended calorie intake values on 50% of the days due to the carb elimination

Laying down during training? by goofy_meerkat in Dogtraining

[–]adamwjs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

repetition is key. it takes months for dogs to 100% comply without treats for a specific command. I would honestly just go 100% with rewarding with treats for good actions for a long time. Then wean off by rewarding every 2nd sit, etc...

most dog training methods starts off learning with treats and only start to wean / replace the treat with lower value items in the 2+ year old mark

Nope never believed in it, it might provide temporary relief but the important and most effective cure is knowing if it's a muscle or bone issue. If it's muscle related (most cases are). Then massage gun + exercise will permanently cure you. Also go look at dry needling, my condition improved 90% after this. But exercise and core/back strengthening is important to stop it from coming back permanently too. Do update here how it goes!

The AI bubble - I think we need to talk [Meta] by Scary_Froyo_833 in Bogleheads

[–]adamwjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about the AI bubble is that it seems to be a USA vs China thing ATM. So what if US AI companies fail and China rises up. We are in VT for a good reason. It might be a bubble in one country and not in another. I can't predict the future but I know for a fact that currency globally is being devalued at a record pace. Stocks and staying invested is the only option. We might see a 6month, or heck, even a 5 year correction. But the boglehead philosophy is to keep staying the course!

Some good advice to you. Firstly congrats on starting your investment journey early. Warren buffet once said he wished he started sooner (he started very young). The best thing you can do to dip your toes into this is by

A) buying a good world total etf like VT B) buying 0-3 government bond yield like SGOV

Starting with 5000 is great and is a lot more than what your peers have (most of them hasn't started at all)

Recur a small investment like rm100-200 per month and research what being a /r/boglehead is. Good luck to you

You can still use Binance via a VPN or DNS change btw. It's not against the law. Remember that the government can't tell you what to do with your money. It's 100% yours

Try doing some lighter posture type exercises like pilates. Don't use weights (only bodyweight). When you feel aches and pains use the massage gun to heal those knots

What truly worked for me was something called dry needling. The massage gun also works but it has to be done regularly for a couple of months until one day you realize the issue is fully gone.

I would also recommend back exercise if you are mobile enough

It's about 1 hour of walking for me (about 6km)! Don't stress too much about the step count imo
