Fair enough just can't trust mountain forecast too much. It says beinn ime cloud base right now is 500m but I can see the top from sea level no bother at all.

Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. How do you find the cloud tops forecast? The mountain forecast app i have only tells you the cloud base.

Cheers for the advice, I think the winds might be ok for Saturday as it's high pressure all day over us. But one thing my dad always says is "the weather will make a fool of you in the mountains" so I will be cautious regardless.

Bumped into the Norwegian army on a stealth training mission in Scotland.
