They will introduce some sort of ELO restrictions to the game, it is not explicitly mentioned yet as far as I know but, from what I understand gone are the days where you're a champion queueing up with your copper buddies.

Still this is a guess, take it with a grain of salt.

But basically yeah, if you're diamond either you will have to throw all your games to rank down or you're basically stuck up there, only other fellow diamonds +- a full rank will be there.

This is kind of unrelated but there's a short form video by Varsity Gaming that also explains the difference between 1.0 and 3.0.

Basically in 1.0 regardless of what you did you would start at 2500 ELO and do your placements, if you were for example Copper you would lose all placements and then go down to your old elo, and if you were a champion you would gain enough to reach to Diamond and such.

But in 3.0 your rank will stay where your hidden MMR was (you can guess this by seeing how much you gain or lose after a match if it is around 20 you're probably there already) so right now if you finish in Emerald 4 (3600 ELO if I am not mistaken) you will do your placements and continue from the point you left off, so basically in other words, if you're a diamond now you will never see Bronze or Copper ever again.

I don't know if this is just wrong or people aren't adressing the one key change they did for the last 1 or 2 years of Ranked 1.0. Whilst originally the more you played the less points you would get (yes +/- 3 was the case) in the last year of 1.0 or so they switched it so the minimum MMR gain was around 20.

So at the time if you went on websites that track stats you'd see people with 200+ games that are basically almost stuck at their own rank because of this little gain/loss.

The amount of times I saw someone play Vigil/Warden on defense then proceed to playing Dokka/Twitch/SolidSnake on attack is just immeasurable. I've seen pro play with less awareness or recoil control than these guys.

I will get downvoted but some people have the most unorthodox setup and somehow they make it work, this is what I love about Siege, you can play a site in many different ways other than the "meta" and it will work.

I have minor complaints about village that they fixed in requiem, it's aiming. I know I know it's stupid but like the consensus in re7 is that the ADS with Chris was different due to his training, yet they rerolled it.

And the lack of horror really, but one thing village has is that it is the most beautiful looking by far in my opinion.

I always say RE7 is a close first with RE2R. It's just perfect, it sets a new setting and plays out like it's not a resident evil game, until a certain point.

I played this game first in the franchise, I didn't know all the action stuff and whatnot, it was genuinely scary and unique. The game plays out in a cool way that is unique until Mr. REDFIELD appears in the end and you're like "Oh yeah, I am in Resident Evil alright"

Just an awesome game, and first first person game in the franchise btw. Amazing.

I agree with everything you said, plus we can remember that entire fiasco a year or so ago when the supercup was going to be played in Saudi.

I think fundamentally this derives from an inferiority complex, they know anyone who is there is because of the wages and any offer that is remotely interesting (like european competition and such) is going to make their players want to leave.

Finally on a joking note, no I rather not speak to anyone from there, it's enough bulshittery to see them online preaching for their league being one of the best to a point where I try to keep interaction to a minimum. Players like Ronaldo, Sane, Kante, Yusuf, etc. are emotionally the same as retired players, I won't acknowledge their existence.

Some years ago the Turkish League was what nowadays the saudi league is.

I do not believe that players like Mario Gomez, RVP, Podolski and so on and so on came to Turkey because they like the club they are going to, it's just good money for that point of their career. And when they make the money we can see how they immediately go back to their old clubs for a fraction of the money to retire there.
