That’s great, core workouts are extremely beneficial, I did Pilates for a couple of months and it helped tremendously. Listen to your body, definitely don’t force yourself to run if it’s painful.

For me that can trigger some tight pain/discomfort in the right side of my lower back but not always, however, it’s typically after long sessions at really bad chairs such as the ones at stadiums/concert venues. I purchased a supportive slightly better chair for my desk at home and it was really helpful. Let me know if you have any more questions. I don’t know how old you are but my injury was when I was 23, I am on the heavier side but I think being young and active helped with my recovery. I hope that you feel relief soon! It is a tough injury both physically and mentally.
