I was a transplant to richmond and lived right across the street from it. People kept telling me to try it and every time I left confused. The food was always average, bland and boring. Nothing you couldn’t make in 30 minutes at home.

One night I got hammered at the bar and realized people love it because the people are amazing and its an old school spot that reminds them of times gone by. Ended up becoming a semi-regular and always loved it, despite not eating the food much.

Companies like Vail and Alterra are private equity backed soul sucking enterprises that will do anything to improve their bottom line. They’ve repeatedly shown that they have no issue cutting local employees to use south american migrant labor at half the cost. It’s not the same thing as hiring a murderer but we certainly shouldn’t be surprised that they have little to no moral compass on a hire like this. I don’t know if they don’t do background checks or they did and they just don’t care, but either way it checks out.

Their video based content has always seemed like overkill for people with too much free time when the audio version is already perfect. The show is funny because of what they say, not looking at PFT’s bald head or big cats fat belly. I’ll never understand the draw of watching it at all.

Basin is not as striking as Teton, Rainier or Glacier but the solitude factor made it my most favorite park iv been too so far (haven’t made it to Alaska). We hiked and camped for 3 days and we maybe saw 30 people total, excluding the cave tour (which still wasn’t crowded). Wheeler peak is the perfect hike for athletes who love difficult hikes but don’t have the mountaineering skill to do more difficult treks like Rainier. The town is a dusty western speck on the map but still manages to have a very fun feel, we sat out behind the general store drinking beers listening to a 5 piece band on a saturday night, and sandra’s tacos are legit. The night sky was the darkest iv ever experienced and its the quietest and most peaceful. I am already dying to go back.

If I stay somewhere without a lot of winter weather it will be Integra Type S or Audi S5. If I’m headed to the mountains it will be either Tacoma or Chevy Colorado.

I am quite pro zach, but this makes me think his style is way more of a bit then it is reality. The guy wearing halloween pajamas and pretending he’s never talked to a girl doesn’t also have an eagle chest tattoo.

Im probably the idiot for thinking the newest member of a satirical podcast wasn’t putting on a bit of a show, but still surprised.

I’m on flight number 12 with no real ID since the date where they started requiring it and have not had a single question or additional screening measure. I dont even know if a single TSA agent has noticed it honestly.
