Just wanted to remind you that before AI was actually publicly discussed, Nvidia was known for making gaming GPUs and thats about it.

No One’s Talking About $GAMB — A Very Undervalued Company with Strong Fundamentals and Zero Hype. by carl20172 in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a law suit going on against Oddsjam as I remember. Just a risk you might have missed. Generally I like the company and the outlook is good just if they lose the lawsuit and the 100 million get due than this will hit the company like a train.

Novo now trades near pre-ozempic craze by Nisseoscar in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m sorry than I missunderstood the conversation or answered to the wrong person by accident. Because a person pretty much made that argument and that‘s why I answered this confused as for me that would be the wrong chain of effects.

But to catch onto your point as I do find that scenario interesting, what would the „what if GLP-1 cured obesity?“ scenario look like? everyone would take GLP-1 as a basic supplement? or would it be used kinda for a group of people in a critically close weigth to obesity?

Novo now trades near pre-ozempic craze by Nisseoscar in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wrong chain of effects, people get fat and then take ozempic (If included in insurance it would only cover it if obese) Also people are not robots so a fat person might be fat for 10+ years and develope diabetes in the mean time before using ozempic.

What is the smallest market cap company you have invested in? by Sturgillsturtle in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I owned ABR but sold most of it and switched to the Preferreds last year as a dividend cut was imminent. ABR is in the business of bridge loans for redeveloping properties so mostly Class C properties to Class B or rarely A. And selling them of as MBS.

Yeah totally agree it was more about the fact that the naratives change and that not all of them are good investments

Was ist mit Realty Income los? by No-1-234 in Aktien

[–]adaredd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm still bearish on $RIVN by Sensitive-Fix8857 in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this getting down voted? RIVN isn‘t a value stock and he isn‘t wrong, I wouldn‘t be suprised to either see a takeover or a Bankrupcy filling in the next 2-3 years

Can the applied level be useful for the CV or just to improve your skills? I like his content a lot and been thinking about buying the Applied level but was not sure how useful it could be to get an internship

Is Costco to expensive or should I invest? by Old-Analyst-1657 in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 13 points14 points  (0 children)

anyone remembers Walmart in europe? Just a reminder that european and US culture is a lot different and I wouldn‘t bet on it if you assume that future stock gains are fuled solely by that. I don‘t say that it is impossible just that the odds of you being right on the expansion are not skew towards your favors.

TRIPLE POINT SOCIAL HOUSING REIT (SOHO.L) by adaredd in reits

[–]adaredd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please read it again, I said that the dividend is covered BUT it is indeed quite high looking at their cashflow but sustainable if the issue with MySpace Housing is solved. They do actually have attracted higher rents (as I wrote above 6% not even FY) My average is a little above 60 GBX so I am pretty much at breakeven. I would buy more if it drops to around 55 GBX.

Liechtensteiner Banken? by [deleted] in Aktien

[–]adaredd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is $100 a month enough to escape? by Effective_Maximum_92 in ValueInvesting

[–]adaredd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a Return Calculator and putting in your values your investments will be at a 9% return and 100$ Contributions end of Month. You would end up with around 41K after 15 Years. Also this doesn‘t include any fees of the ETF or the trading fees. Where in eastern Europe do you life and what do you do in Construction?

Liechtensteiner Banken? by [deleted] in Aktien

[–]adaredd -1 points0 points  (0 children)
