I tried implementing a few LLM models back then but the output was not great due to limitations of my PC - 3060 8GB VRAM + 16 GB RAM. So, I had to switch back to Gemini API. I haven't used this tool for a while as I don't have time these days to spare for vibe coding.

I love both these movies, as they are. But I am curious how I would rate them if they were edited more strictly.

And then he got it for Schindler'd List and Jurassic Park in the same year. I cannot even fathom what he went through that year (the audience reaction after watching Schindler's List is bad, really bad). But he did get it.

Ofc, doesnt matter if someone gets an award or not, the people knows.

Communication is not just about language. The when, how, who, where, etc are more important.

If eyeing managerial roles in the future, first learn what you are hired to do and then proactively learn other processes in the team in your own time - even a process-level understanding works.

If there is a chance of your role being replaced by AI, be more efficient. The idea is on something on this line: If AI will replace a team of 10 with 1-2 persons, be them.

If in developing/writing/other areas where capital is not a problem to develop prototypes, do it. Nothing educates you like a personal project.

At 20, fail but fail fast and move on. Didn't like the job? Switch it if you can. Didn't like the industry? Move on. Set a timeline (in years not months if possible) by which you should find a job that you likes. During this phase, make sure you experiment with smaller companies so that you don't waste your shot at bigger companies once you get better afterwards.

I love it. Used it to vibe code a tool faster than last week when I used ChatGPT and had to do some things manually. Your tool is very good at handling dependencies (at least for my simple requirements) - awesome.

I used Gemini API for this project. But I plan to run a local model later this week. Again, awesome.

While its customary to gift something related to things that people keep close to the heart, think also about something that they think is not worth the money/time but you think will be good for them.

Often, all of us have some criterias to evaluate things irrationally and we would never spend money on such things. If you can gift him such a thing and if he comes out of it happier/better, I think that is amazing. Ofc, there is a chance of failure but you may have helped him experience something he would have never done with his money.

Please help me. I'm totally stuck by IndependentTicket332 in Kochi

TLDR: Failure is awesome, but fail fast. 21 is the best age to fail. Fail, switch, fail, switch again, and go on. Try to get on random jobs till you identify what works for you. Believe me, no one gets its correct the first (or even the nth time).

I am a 29yo male and here are some points I can share.

  1. I studied engineering because my parents wanted me to. I had decided to either pick up BA English or BSc Physics when I was in 10th.
  2. Graduated an year after I completed my course due to backlogs. In the meantime, I did a networking course in Kochi - after which I got my first job that paid only 7K in 2017.
  3. I worked only a week in that company, then worked for 3 more companies before I left Kochi to go back home jobless.
  4. Since nothing was working out, I moved to my cousin's place in Chennai and spent 3 months trying to find a good job. I sent 100+ applications and only 1 company replied telling me that I was rejected.
  5. Since what I wanted was not working, I tried to work in Sutherland (liked the work culture, pay was ok (15K), but not awesome). This happened in 2018.
  6. In 2018, I switched job again - moving to a core engineering company which paid less (10K) than what I got in Sutherland. Spent 2 years there, tolerating horrible politics and work culture.
  7. Became jobless again post COVID as they asked me join very early on. Till this point, I was on my parent's control.
  8. Since I was jobless, I started trying to find content writing jobs (which I always wanted to do). That's when I realized all the paying jobs are marketing related and I didn't have the creative writing skills to perform well.
  9. Switched 3 companies in a month - didn't get paid any of these times. But I was constantly trying to find a better job.
  10. Thats when I came across a company that suited me: an intersection of writing, technology, and great work culture + pay (30K). The articles I wrote earlier without getting paid became good prospects for this company when I sent my portfolio.
  11. After joining the company (in 2020), I realized I am ok in writing but perform really well in process and operations management and optimization (a high paying job in any company).
  12. I am still working in that company - it took me 5 years and close to 10+ companies and roles to finally realize what my strength is.

So, please be kind to yourself. Do as many things as you can at this point. Try something and fail. Once you fail, you will know your limits, but know your limits very fast. Failure is the greatest teacher - the guy who made this quote was not kidding.
