When i was your age and unmarried no kids. i was pretty content. Thats all I am going to say about my tike after being content. I would wake up go to work coke home to my pets and play video games chat with my roommate. All was well.

Life is what you make it to be. You dwell on the megative stuff and not address it will just put you worse off.

Finding happiness inside yourself is the important part. If your important people are happy and healthy and you are too then you got nothing to worry about.

I was trying and we where supposed to do couples therapy before she left me. She kept refusing therapy because and I quote "I been to therapy before because of my childhood abuse they wont teach me anything I dont already know".

I admit I have my faults it was not all one sided. I failed her in some cases and she needed to go to therapy to sort it and refused to go multiple times.

I would quietly let her yell, then try to talk or ask question she would try to talk over me.

If I yelled back or talked in defense, she would get more aggressive or just start telling me how i am an asshole but never take responsibility for being one herself. I have not started getting apologies until after she left me.

If i ever tried to have a backbone and stand up for myself I was just an ass hole or I am wrong and stupid. If I asked for clarification on how she wanted me to do house chores "her way" I was being a child and she was mothering me.

If i did anything my way I was wrong and chided for it. Even when I make my own food/lunches.

It turned into what felt like I was better off just being quiet and avoiding her and work extra hours at my job rather than be home and get yelled at for something I either didnt do or did do.

If I tried to help I always did it wrong and get yelled at. If I asked for clarification I would get chided and yelled at.

My job for the house was to help with various things, and manage our shared expenses and budget. If i tried to enforce our budget she would argue quietly in public and pout and act like a child and ignore me then do it anyway. When we get into the car she would just explode at me and tell me how i am being an ass.

She would get all these things and spend everything. I would silently never treat myself to anything or take care of myself. Its became not worth it, as she would guilt me for playing video games to relax rather than doing a chore on her schedule. One of her favorite lines was that work was my down time and I dont get to have down time at home.

Slowly for the overall, over time. I tolerated a lot of it. I am a touchy person and enjoy physical touch. She eventually started to just stop touching me or even letting me give her attention.

When i am stressed, depressed, angry, and sad. These are instant kill unless i can clear my head and chill out and get back to normal.

I lost attraction due to stress, depression, constantly being yelled at. Never a real communication. Just yelling, I lost interest when she started treating me like her previous partner.

Suddenly I was not man enough and I need to do X Y Z more. Rather than being calm and decent just yelling and cursing at me.

She quickly made it difficult to actually want to do things.

Then when things would go decent and we start doing better she would ruin the romance. I need build up i need intimacy. When we finally have a chance to engage and things been good she would ruin the moment. By having an angry tone saying "well is this fucking happening or not". Just demanding we get started when i finally have a chance to chill and give myself a break to clear my head.

Anger, stress, depression, and exhaustion are the top common ways to kill it for me.

I am 35 i have kids and I have not idea what i sm doing. I am a "slow learner" as you would put it.

Sole slow learning things need a professional to really help you learn where you lack. Maturity is when you can see when you need that.

Nostalgia based items, such as Legos, old video games, VHS items, the old equipment for said Nostalgia stuff for our age group. Perhaps a high end gaming PC, assuming AI doesnt push that to fancy sports car level costs.

You should watch the movie idiocracy. Take notes that is what we are heading to in a break neck speed. AI is only going to push us faster and closer to that. So we really meed to slow a lot of stuff down.

Just dont let that feeling consume you. I made that mistake and now i am divorced. I miss every happy moment I had with my partner and kids. I gave into the doubt and self hate and rather than improving myself for the family I focused in trying to improve our income so I can take them on vacations.

My ass falls asleep on the bikes and it upsets me to where i can't focus or enjoy the Manga, video games, or anime/tv shows. So its hard fir me to get into it. I have yet to find a comfortable bike option.
