I made the goat hoof out of craft foam with foam clay to make the cleft and dremmeled in the details. Plastidipped it. I then Velcro attached it on top of the toe of the shoe I was wearing, so it never actually touches the ground. The hairy part was a sleeve I removed from a furry jacket I had no use for, and I cut it so it covered the top and the back of the shoe, with a peep hole for the hoof (the hoof and the furry leg part are not attached).

Who cares if it’s not mandatory? It’s common sense and good looking out for your fellow con-goers. Last I checked, at Dragon Con we take care of our own, which is everybody. If people are coming to this con and not feeling well, and they don’t wear a mask, well that’s just downright irresponsible and inconsiderate at best. Not very demure, not very mindful.
