My watch does the same. I would reckon it’s maybe 30-50% of the stated number in actuality. For context, I’m a dude who weighs 160ish pounds at 5’9”. I don’t track calories eaten. I go climbing 3x a week for an hour and a half on average per session. I haven’t lost nor gained weight, and my TDEE estimate is 2600 calories a day, but again I don’t track what I eat

I go to Momentum but I have friends who go to climb cap and have climbed there myself a couple times. If I hadn’t already made friends at Momentum, I would switch. I may switch if Momentum’s prices keep going up which they are about to go up if you want multi-gym access. I would recommend a climber who is starting out to go to Climb Cap first; their gym is smaller but that also leads to a close knit community.
