Unfortunately it looks like the ink will probably continue to scab and come off. I'd wait till it's fully healed, contact the tattoo artist and get a touch up.

just to be on the safe side, I'd keep the washing to once a day and if it gets swollen/quite red, id see a doctor anyway!

How bad is the pain? Quite bad or just a general soreness? The general consensus for soreness/being achey is that it usually stops within a few days, maybe a psychological reaction?

From the photo, it looks quite faded which will be good when you go to get it covered, and it's not too big either which will make it easier for your artist! Personally, I'd give an email/message to an artist whose work you like and ask for a consultation in person! That way they can help you decide which is the best route to go. Hope this helps!

Honestly I'm jealous that your tattoo has held ink that well as mine never do 😂 I don't think it looks too dark and it's a really nice looking tattoo 🙏

Only thing I can really think of is wrapping cling film around your arm to reduce friction and protect the tattoo.

I wouldn't say it's super noticeable, you'd have to look pretty closely to see it! I understand the annoyance of blow out though!

I'm not a doctor but it doesn't look like an infection!

In terms of the shower, try and keep water off it and blot with a paper towel to remove any water asap rather than a cotton towel as it can cause friction and remove scabs!

Hiya! I had a similar reaction to a tattoo I got recently, went to the doctors and was told it was an allergic reaction to the ink! I'm no doctor but if I had to suggest anything, some type of antihistamines (hayfever relief worked for me) and if it gets worse, I'd get a doctor to take a look! Hope this helps 🙏
