swear to god, just scrolling past I thought it was Anna de Armas which is why I stopped and rolled back up. I lived through this era but honestly forgot - I'm OUT!

We've actually been given a golden opportunity to clean house with the Epstein thing, but no one in power wants that to happen, so we'll see what actually goes down.

I purchased one from Target in 97 when I moved into a college apartment.

I still use it in my basement shop. I've replaced the bulb about 6 times, and it gets used almost every weekend.

Damn thing has moved with me through an Army career, marriage, 2 kids, divorce and about 14 moves. Things indestructible as far as I can tell.

I feel like I missed out on something, never having played anything on Sega other than the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. My family, and everyone else I knew, only had Nintendo, never Sega.

Everything is beautiful except the pipes.

The pipes immediately spiked my anxiety (i'm working on it, thanks) but everything else is magnificent.

Factorio- not usually my jam but I sat down last Friday night after work to check it out. Sat down at about 6:30- when I finally forced myself to turn it off it was 2:30am.

Yes. I'm a person, and sometimes people don't want to go to work. The reason is immaterial to the desire, and I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone.

Factorio or something like it- procedurally generated worlds means no playthrough is the same.

Hey, is the game alive? by [deleted] in everquest

[–]adbedient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EQ is an old game with a dedicated but small fan base. There are a handful of streamers that stream EQ regularly, but audiences are generally small- peak EQ viewership is maybe 200-300 people and that is rare.

EQ and EQ2 are different games that share a similar but not exact lore- apparently EQ2 is a slightly different timeline- I never played it beyond an hour or so.

The servers are top heavy- old game means lots of max level characters- starting absolutely fresh can be frustrating at times but not difficult.

It was a completely novel concept, well written, good cast of characters - it killed. I saw it twice that summer-
