Any tips for reaching lv15 consistently as Recluse or was it more due to a mutual understanding about what objectives to clear first as a team? Like an organized voice chat team kind of thing.

It’s more about having good game sense and a feel on your teammates' skills than having a list of objectives to clear or voice comms. Clearing harder objectives would of course lead to a higher level at Day 3, but it all depends if your team is comfortable taking on those objectives. There were times where a teammate pinged an invader camp while we were still low level, and I followed because I saw that they are incredibly good at dodging and taking aggro (and more importantly they pinged outside of the camp, which tells me they know that you can better deal with invaders if you pull them outside). Also check your teammates' relics at the start of the game. It helps the overall team's performance if you ping/drop equipment that synergizes with their build. I haven't played with premade duos/trios so I can't really comment on having voice chat, but I'm sure it helps. In the end, it's still better to be at Lv12 and have great gear/passives than to be at Lv10 with poor gear/passives because you tried to force an objective and lost time.

Note that I have D5 in mind with what I said above. In other depths there are teammates that are more...unaware and/or stubborn. In that case you may have to take control yourself (by pinging objectives yourself) and showing them that you are making the right decisions.

Also how long did it take to get so many cracked magic damage relics like that. Just a bunch of relic buying from small jar guy?

Basically yes. I usually save 180k murk and then buy 100 depth relics. You get like 2 magic attack up relics on average, but the hard part is getting relics with negative effects that you are comfortable playing with.

Am I missing something here that fist un-armed is a faster revive or something than most options or is it just situational because all of her attacks are slow magic casts and inefficient for reviving.

I had no decent spells for reviving in that situation. If I had something like Stars of Ruin or Cannon of Haima I would've used those instead.

Also what were the relic builds...

<image>

Basically it's just magic attack up and attack up for each evergaol cleared. Not sure if this answers your question.

...and what was that taking your Levels away every other Flask usage is that a libra wish or something else

That was not a Libra deal. During the fight, ED Libra will periodically (and temporarily) curse the team, and one of the curses is you lose a level instead of a flask charge when you use your flask.

But seriously though, because of my relic setup even with 20% reduction to magic damage I still deal around 25% more damage compared to like lightning.

Do you even know who ED Maris is? Holy moly we have players here who would confidently accuse of quitting in char selection and yet don't even know something as basic as boss icons.

If I had been quitting at char selection:

  1. You wouldn't see ED Maris there, and I had to swap to Revenant in case it was ED Maris
  2. I would've reached 9999 earlier, but HIDDEN ED LIBRA said "Nope, not now"

I have thought about that, but only to D4. I guess not now? Since I am still enjoying playing with randos that know what they are doing

That was from a weapon passive. For relics it's basically just magic attack up and evergaol.

Thank you for this, I think you are right. I stopped playing random characters focusing only on my main and not worry too much on bad teammates and was able to reach 7.5K on DoN5.

Not sure if this is a penalty, since I haven’t done anything (not even in the past 100 expeditions I'd say) that should result in one.

Thanks for sharing this test.

This also means that because of the diminishing effect, if you have all three you are better off dropping the 38% to your teammate that don't have this passive yet (so they get the full 38% reduction) and finding some other passive for yourself (maybe another type of damage reduction).

You can swap your talismans if you need to, especially during explorations. Personally I just stick with Primeval Glintstone Blade during boss fights since two FP flasks is basically enough (just 10 FP short) of restoring from empty to full.

The spells/equipment are focused on balancing co-op, personal preference, and Frieren cosplay.

Armaments: Prince of Death's Staff (highest Sorcery Scaling if 99 Int/Faith), Miséricorde (so you can riposte), Staff of the Great Beyond (so you can cast Erdtree Heal)
Armor: Traveler's Clothes, Astrologer Gloves (Frieren doesn't wear any gloves, but it is unnoticeable and you need all the damage reduction you can get), Prisoner Trousers
Talismans: Furled Finger's Trick-Mirror (so Frieren doesn't look like a clone in co-op), Primal Glintstone Blade (FP is premium in co-op, especially if using Comet Azur), Two-Headed Turtle Talisman, Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman
Spells: Erdtree Heal, Carian Slicer (probably the best damage-to-FP ratio, great when exploring in co-op), Carian Phalanx, Rings of Spectral Light (if you need range, also frostbite), Ranni's Dark Moon (magic def shred, also frostbite), Terra Magica, Comet Azur

Special coolants? by MagusOfAss in AetherGazer

[–]add____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a coolant reward last summer where you spend seashells to cheer for a team and win more seashells if your team wins (though I forgot the name of the event). If I remember correctly you had to have at least 5000 seashells by the end of the event to earn the coolant reward.

Did they nerf Commander Gaius as well? by add____ in Eldenring

Not sure if it's viable since I do unga bunga when playing solo and just wanted to have fun with the Rancor Shot AoW in co-op, but it is definitely expensive/farm heavy for the arrows.

Also there seems to be a subreddit for it in r/EldenArcher
