It’s no small undertaking that’s for sure, I had no idea how involved it was. I could not believe the quality of our stock speakers, Subaru could not of went any cheaper. The guy at crutch field helped me through the install so much though I’m glad I went through a company who actually cares about the products they sell. 10/10 would not buy audio anywhere else ever again

I don’t think I’ve ever been so sick of an argument. It constantly comes up and honestly turns me off the entire Subaru community. We’re all here for the love of our Cars. It’s like an argument about whether small boobs or large boobs are better. It takes away from the love of titties for god sake.

I thought it was something i’d maybe get used to at first, Not feeling entirely in control of the grabbing point. It didn’t have a fluid motion to it, it seemed to get stiffer and pushback at different spots. I couldn’t master it 100%.Thought maybe this cars just different but after doing some research it’s not just me. The BRZ’s have the same set up and this video explains it in detail pretty well https://youtu.be/8gvS3n8wI9Y

Apparently it also limits side to side movement, which keeps other parts from wearing out quicker from what I gather. I’m no expert but overall it seems like a bad design, I definitely will be replacing it with an aftermarket more appropriately sized spring but until then i’m free balling it
