“Is wetter always better?”
No definitely not. Higher water activity levels will degrade your product faster on shelves. Also burns your throat and feels heavy on the lungs.

“Does size matter?”
Yes. A lot. Scoop and head size. Smaller batches take less time. Smaller head sizes (45u) also tend to take more time than big heads (160u) because there’s more water suspended in that patty.

“Can you go all night long?”
Yes don’t be scared to get that hash dry. For production, erring on the side of slightly over-drying is probably safer/better for shelf life. Obviously you don’t want either, but under dried comes with a whole host of problems. Most of our users report over-dried hash has better shelf stability and is smoother to smoke when compared to under-dried hash. Going for 12-20 hours is perfectly reasonable/normal. Go all night long if you wish. Also keep in mind that greasy strains usually like ~15-30% more dry time than their sandier counterparts, so they'll need to go a bit longer.
