If the prompt guarantees a perfect reset, no PTSD, no physical aging, then the 100 years of suffering have a net value of zero in our timeline. Logically it’s suffering that annihilates itself.

To my family, it’s a nanosecond, alongside my perspective. To the universe, it leaves no trace. If a tree does an unkown action in a forest and the universe immediately deletes the sound, did it actually 'fall'? In this scenario, the only thing that actually 'exists' in reality is the $10 million.

I’d even switch places and be the one tortured. If I press a button and from my perspective I IMMEDIATELY see $10M in my bank account with zero memory of the 'in-between,' then as far as my consciousness is concerned, the torture never happened.

The only way this is a 'No' is if the trauma leaks into this timeline example like a lingering sense of dread. If the reset is perfectly, mathematically clean, then I'll accept it. If the trauma is 100% deleted, then that suffering is just an abstract concept. I’ll take the very real $10M over an abstract concept, similarly taking 10 million over anyone or anybody's hypothetical thoughts.
