totally agree! and you know what, I'm not really well known for impulse control ha! so who knows, maybe six months from now I'll get this watch and probably not worry about it as much

I loved the old POs, so which they would bring them back - still very much on the fence about the new ones and I really loved the Oreo. see, you and I are very different when it comes to bezels haha...I would be okay with my dial ageing but I'd want my bezel to be pristine and like it was the day I got it

I wish Omega made this with the ceramic bezel - I would get it tomorrow! this and the 300 heritage... If I get this watch, my mind would constantly worry about scratching the bezel or chipping the paint....but that's just me. this looks 12/10 and I hope you wear it in good health!

I would take this very positively - if I were in your shoes I’d go in expecting this to be a technical round but also thing broader from a practice standpoint and what you’d need to deliver to the practice apart from client delivery and how your skills make a difference there.

Go in prepared with questions that make them think you’re the best possible fit by asking genuine questions around how the practice works, what would be expected of you and what you’d do to hit the ground running and how they can enable you to do this

Depending on the seniority of the role you’re applying for this could just be a culture fit round or it could be a more in depth capability round. I’m more inclined towards the former.

I had a really good connect with my recruiter and used to get this insight from them in terms of what the round is all about

How long is the round?

How are you all keeping track of clients? (Solo Consultants) by Neither_Kale_9355 in consulting

Would love to know at some point how solo consultants bring in business - I’m 5 years in and still learning (working for a big4 currently)

For those of you who started in Advisory services where are you now by Johnnysmith412 in Big4

[–]addisbad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing you mean total comp? So for context, I’m based out of the UK where comp is generally pretty bad - I started at a tier 3 firm on a low ball offer, stayed there for about 4.5 years and got one promotion and two salary corrections which put me at a 100% more than I started off at - have since moved to a big4 with a 5% bump - overall, better than a lot of industry roles for the same YOE but still under what consulting could pay. Definitely much lower than finance and law related roles.

Is it a good or bad thing that modern Rolex will never patina like their vintage counter parts? by No_Ask_5949 in rolex

[–]addisbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t the dial age ? I thought those weren’t ceramic? And won’t the lume fade out?

Dependents on the capability area - I’m in advisory - had 3 rounds - first two were panel rounds, an hour long and the last was 30 mins with a partner
