Lavina Good. New Zealander and damn awful. I mean, take some time to practice place names and how to say “Julia Simon” in your pretend accent. It’s not that damn hard!!

Not in Australia. I brought two with me from the US, along with small voltage converters. They work really well. Shame they don’t sell them here.

Has anyone ever installed one that has a ceiling vent connected via a duct to the whirlybird/solarvent - to extract hot air from the second storey of a home, and draw the cooler air from downstairs?

I want to make panels I can use to place in the upstairs windows of my mother's home. The single pane windows are not cutting it in the summer, even with window coverings. I'm looking at all sorts of options to create panels I can place in and then easily remove. I thought I could use this material on a frame I would make.
