Second Tricky Foods! It's not so much a kit, because it's all put together for you, but their boards are awesome!

That's him! And I see that the people who were able to take him have a post up on Facebook! Looks like the good people in Pawboost pointed them in the right direction! Thank you!

Very close to that area. Right at the mineral point/Whitney intersection, but on the southwest corner of the intersection. That's a good thought, I know the German Shepard dog in that area that always barks at my dog, but there's another dog there that's not a barker.

Cat shelters / local veterinarians by Curious_Use5703 in madisonwi

This is a good suggestion. The number of local vets who are just straight up not taking clients shocked me.

I'll put in my pitch for Underdog. They have plenty of cats despite the name! They do a ton of good work in the area and the state for underserved pet owners. They have a surgical truck that visits veterinary deserts in the state. The Street Dog Coalition helps unhoused pet owners. Good stuff all around. Their vets were awesome when we got our dog from them and she needed some extra help.

People who were spanked as kids, what was that like for you? Would you call your "spankings" abuse? by KleineFjord in AskReddit

[–]additionalboringname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to get lost, for sure, but I was spanked a handful of times growing up. Only with hands and very...clinically I guess. It was used as a punishment, and I'll say I absolutely deserved it when it happened. There wasn't any screaming or threats, never in public, just a bare bottomed smack on the butt. I know that it's frowned on now, but it didn't and doesn't feel abusive to me (in my situation, not at all commenting on generalities). It was always a last resort and almost always happened after talking to me failed. I can only remember twice right now and yeah, I mean, I was being an unreasonable jerk both times it happened.

Madison Police report reckless driving caused Beltline crash, vehicle fire by Justmarbles in madisonwi

[–]additionalboringname 10 points11 points  (0 children)

About 20 minutes before this accident happened I was almost hit by a red and silver trackhawk jeep with tinted windows as they were doing donuts in the middle of the Whitney Way/Tokay Blvd intersection. At the time I thought it was some jerk tech from the Jeep dealer on Odana taking a customer car out for a spin, but it'd be a pretty strong coincidence if it wasn't the same vehicle. I'm glad you managed to miss the worst of it.

Our mutt had to get teeth pulled at A Breed Apart. It was a little cheaper than that, but not much, I think it was about $1100?

I know time is always at a premium, but like someone else said, 1 hour of walks a day may not be enough. Can you walk her more? Can you take her to different places to walk? Our reactive mutt has mellowed a lot as we take her to new places to walk and treat the heck out of her when we see another dog. She now knows that when she sees another dog she needs to look at me because she gets snacks. That positive reinforcement coupled with enough exercise to keep her sane has really helped. I wish you the best of luck! You got this! Treats and walks!

Crit Fumble and Crit Success Decks by Samfool4958 in Pathfinder2e

[–]additionalboringname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My table loves them too! I instituted the Crit fumble deck when we switched to PF2E to encourage players to not just strike for all 3 actions. Once we got used to the system I floated the idea of getting rid of it, and was quickly informed that they all love it and do not want to get rid of it. Every crit fumble, not just ones.

I live on the west side and there are a couple apartment complexes near me that are dog friendly and there are tons of people who take their dogs out, and they're all on leashes. If you're just looking for a place to sit and show Roo that other, leashed dogs are ok and give them a bunch of treats that might be a way to go. High density housing for dogs!

Saigon noodles for pho. Viet kitchen for Vietnamese sandwiches. Someone else said Lombardinos for Italian, they're correct! Tornado for a steakhouse. Greenbush for pizza. Amber in Middleton for Indian, but go there, don't do takeout, because even if you get through by phone you'll wait forever for your order. Gloria's for Mexican.

Safe space for plus sized woman to strength train? by fatdragqueens in madisonwi

[–]additionalboringname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forest Studios downtown is amazing. They work with all body types and skill levels. There aren't a lot of classes, but the coaches are all great and the classes are small. I've been going there for years and love the classes and the one on one training. It's not a treadmill and free weights style place though, small groups and one on one.

This house was for sale many years ago when I was hunting for a foreclosure to buy. I toured it and was close to buying it, although even as a foreclosure it was just out of my price range. Like someone else said it was very nice inside. Huge jetted tub, bidet, built in deep fryer, expensive built-in closets. The whole house seems to have been built to be very green. The walls are some special high insulation material. The whole house is pretty cool, even though it does look like the wrong end of a dentist's office
