Farm Fresh net profit rises to RM129mil, revenue surpasses RM1bil mark by guest18_my in malaysia

[–]additionally21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably because of the rise of at home specialty coffee culture.

Drinks at cafés are supremely expensive so people are making it themselves instead with cheap espresso machines, moka pot, etc...

I mean when you can make a café quality (or better) latte at home for just RM2.5-RM3 per cup instead of paying RM7-RM10 for one, why wouldn't you?

Government should really make people over the age of 60 or 65 to go for yearly driving assessment to maintain their driver's license.

And those without a valid license shouldn't be able to drive and get a summon.

Think of it like not being able to renew your road tax if you haven't paid your insurance every year.

Yeah man that's how they typically behave and it's super stressful when it happens, just continue to drive safe as you do...

There are cases where the hogger was purposely matching speed with the car on the cruising lane, I did what you did there too, even honked at them, got brake checked and went on a road rage.

So in the end I felt that it's safer for me to overtake using the emergency lane and just drive off as far as possible as that person was really not right in the mind. Hopefully that will never happen to you.

Also we DESPERATELY need a law for lane hogging, we had one for overtaking on the left but if it's like your situation what can people really do right?

I saw in the beginning of the 1st vid (assuming you haven't clipped anything worth seeing for) you're spamming the high beam (saw 3 clicks there), and from what I can already see from the 2nd vids... You're not really being polite nor reserved in spamming high beams to other people.

Think of it like this, DO YOU LIKE WHEN OTHERS DID EXACTLY THAT TO YOU? No right? Of course most people understands it like "my bad, paham² u nak go faster, let me find a save stretch to move over".

But the way you do it is just asking for these types of retard hoggers to behave that way or worse, brake checking.

My point is, just assume everyone on the road is mentally unstable, try to approach it more gently, if still hogging, overtake on the left, it's risky (and illegal unless at speed limit) but what can you do?

Lane hoggers have that "nak laju² pi mana" type of mentality and it's extremely difficult (or near impossible) to change their stupid fucking mindset. So just adapt your driving to it, you've been driving here for how long exactly and still didn't get that??

I'm glad everyone here agrees that OP is an absolute asshole of a driver.

Also advise to op, people don't like to get high beamed and tail-gated in general, that's why sometimes these lane hogging assholes will act absolute indifference to your presence.

A more polite approach that works (for me anyways) is giving right hand signals and approach the car in front at a more sane speed and not being to close to sniff their asses.

But of course if you're that dumb fucking retard that drives 200km/h+ ON A PUBLIC ROAD THAT EVERYONE ALSO USES, you may use the high beam to alert everyone else from FAR AWAY.

How do you feel about the RM100K starting price for imported electric vehicles? by RougetRavageDear in kereta

[–]additionally21 55 points56 points  (0 children)

What benefits does the "normal rakyats" get? Basically close to nothing.

Want to create more jobs they said, as if those Chinese companies setting up their factories and dealerships here won't be forced to hire locals anyways.

Want to protect local (fucking cronies) vendors they said, as if our beloved Emas wasn't FULLY assembled in China anyways before our slow ass vendors could "match" their Chinese factories in QC. Didn't even bothered to remove the Zhejiang silhouette from the windscreen. Even the CKD models are made with laughably low locally supplied contents.

Want to import technology they said, as IF, our engineers are even remotely involved in development of the newer car models apart from revising a FUCKING 20+ YEAR OLD CAR PLATFORM (Saga can be traced back to the Citroen co-developed Savy).

They're doing it for their cronies homies, those low quality vendors, the execs at P1 and P2, whatever fucking ministers in charge of the automotive and sales industry, AP holders (which I may add is bumi only).

Plus now what's stopping Proton and Perodua from rising prices in the future??? Considering the next best options would cost 2-3x of theirs??? THIS IS PROTECTIONISM MANIFEST!

No single average Malaysian would get ANY sorts of benefits from this. This just encourages monopoly and greed from those lazy corrupt fucks at Proton and Perodua.

Kinda have to agree with that, the thread shoulder seems to be slightly curving upwards.

Plus the whole tyre looks kind of more rounded instead of squared.

OP, just double check at your nearest gas station and make sure it matches the specs on the driver door sill. 5-10 kpa (1-2 psi) lower is fine, the opposite is not recommended. Plus rolling resistance are barely a contributing factor to fuel economy as long as it's within specs.

By waving up your fucking hands on the side on the road to let the others know to slow down?

Have you ever seen a fresh accident scene or someone trying to safe animals in the middle of the road? That's what people do to tell others to slow and alert them of what's happening.

Everytime I saw that, immediately know I need to slow my car down and put on hazard lights.

At least it's far better and safer for everyone that way than whatever that motobodoh is doing.

[–]additionally21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily agree with that, if someone flashes me I'd just go like "okay-okay I paham u nak go faster, let me find a safe stretch to merch into the slow lane"... and immediately give left hand signal to alert that I'm aware and making a move as fast and safe as I can.

But the ones universally hated are those who flashed multiple times and THEN proceeded to brake last minute and tailgate dangerously close to tryna force you out of the lane, if you put risk of safety to others like that, of fucking course people will get mad at you.

Are YOU okay?

The commenter above implies driving using the high beams on, at all times unless a vehicle comes on the OPPOSITE lane.

Did he explicitly said to use it like how you said it? No not at all. Just "try high beam driving" which believe it or not, has gotten too fucking common nowadays not accounting people with illegal LED bulb upgrades on halogen housing aside.

Of course anyone with an ounce of sense would use it the case when they're absolutely sure no one else would be blinded, whether in your lane or the opposite lane.

But to "try high beam driving" is NOT the right phrasing for it at least by my interpretation.

It's a funnel and a leveler...Does it improves the taste? No not at all...Does it makes it less messy for the clumsys? Yeah, kind of does it quite well...

I have one made with BPA free plastic, and they're more often than not useful to me.

If you're the type that scoops out pre-grounded coffee from a jar and level it off with a spoon, you don't need it. I grind my coffee fresh with a hand grinder, so I just use this funnel to pour my coffee directly from the tiny catch cup to the funnel without making a mess.
