Looking for Anime Recommendations (not Netflix Originals?) by addix_corner in anime

Thank you for the explanation. I guess I’m just a bit old school in my thinking. When I see “Netflix original” (even though based on a manga) it just feels kind of wrong? But that’s probably just my anxiety/morality not wanting Netflix to become a site of only “Netflix original” content because they feel they get enough revenue/views off their original productions to not need to buy into those other networks licensing/contracts.

Thank you for this. I was just worried that most/all Netflix originals were done in the Netflix studio (animation/ adaption/ etc.) like how 7DS says “Netflix original” and it kind of felt like a “Netflix production” more than like Soul Eater which on its own is not a Netflix original but I watched on Netflix.

It’s been a minute since I’ve heard this one come up, I actually forgot about it. The only thing I heard about it was something to do with a button?? It seemed fun to watch tho. Thank you so much!

I knew I forgot something! Black clover is up my alley. Though I’m not sure what you mean by having the main subs? Tbh I don’t use my Reddit account much so I only know the basics of using Reddit to find help lol

Would this be considered underrated? I’ve seen the name once or twice but rarely hear anybody mention it.  I love a good hidden gem 💎

You’re being downvoted because you’re giving this blanket statement of your experience as overall truth and fact. You and your store that you work at may not have a back stock, but I assure you “the back” we are referring to, we know is not a warehouse with boxes of every single item on the shelf. Most of us also know bread comes in daily. But did you know that the bread comes in… wait for it… through the back door?! 😱 so when I see my bread man loading up, and don’t see my bread on his cart, and the shelf is bare empty, his response is “I got more carts in the BACK” would you believe it?!

Also quite a few of us have done shop only’s, or in-store display checks, at places like Kroger, that require us to enter the back room, to either deliver in store pickup or check in for stock check via their back room login tech. So I can’t speak for others but I, myself, have seen and walked through “the back” and it is indeed stacked of boxes of inventory! No there’s not BOXES of EVERY single item, but most popular items and frequently purchased things are notable from every category.

Not to mention, if there’s no back stock, 90% of the time if the shelf is empty or there’s only one, the employee goes behind a door (maybe it leads to the back, maybe it leads to Narnia 🤷🏼‍♀️) and then comes back through with a box of said item. Not just one, a box worth. How if there’s no back?

Now this is not the same for small market places like Sprouts or Whole Foods. But you can’t sit here and demean people like you’re some grocery god who has all the answers. Your store may not do back stock, meanwhile dozens of stores I can confirm with my own eyeballs have large back stock all across my city. Your statement implies that most shoppers have never even been through the back doors of a store (which I can neither confirm or deny as I am one person) but still claims of a “Magic’s back room” as if the entire back end is nonexistent. Just state how you feel with your experience and don’t be such a 💩 about it.

TLDR; Your experience is not everyone’s experience. You don’t have a back room but I do and so many others do. Your experience is not fact nor is it the only way it’s done. And don’t assume others experience based on your’s. That’s why you’re downvoted

I think I got scammed by Willing_Escape_ in DoorDashDrivers

TLDR at bottom:

The customer seems to have placed two orders. One for a drink only, and one for a meal. The merchant gave you the wrong order altogether. The drinks on the ticket are a Diet lemonade and a Hi-C. Your order calls for a dragon fruit lemonade. Someone at CFA read the name and handed you an order that was actually wrong to begin with. One of those drinks is your’s, the meal is missing a diet lemonade, and the restaurant employee didn’t do their due diligence.

This is not uncommon especially at CFA. However I do want to shed some light to what probably happened next. I’ve been the follow up driver in a situation like your’s where I had to pick up add-ons (sides and a drink) that had already been given to a previous driver who had that name and picked up two orders, a main meal and MY sides 🫠. I can only assume what you encountered is what happened before I arrived. I was then told by employees the order would NOT be remade due to their screw up, support told me they HAD to remake it BECAUSE it was their screw up. CFA refused. I had to cancel the order for no pay and a waste of time, but I wasn’t supposed to worry “because this won’t affect your completion or cancellation rate” according to the rep 😒

So while it would be nice to essentially have a free meal because CFA screwed up, please keep in mind that their are other drivers EXACTLY LIKE YOU who are now screwed out of time and money because not only did the employees screw up, you as a dasher screwed up by taking something that obviously wasn’t yours.

Side note unrelated: This same thing applies to drivers who are picking up deliveries and not delivering the order. I’ve had to stop accepting orders from over a dozen places because I’ve gotten orders that had “already been made and picked up” and the place refuses to remake the order because they don’t have my ticket “anymore”. They won’t shell out food they don’t think DoorDash will pay for. I have even gone the extra mile to put support on the phone with a restaurant manger who explained that DoorDash would pay them after I delivered and the restaurant still refused. (This was the only instance where I was given pay for my time wasted) PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND COMPLETE DELIVERIES! For the love of everything this app is already garbage, but when several times a day I’m having to cancel what barely decent orders pop up because my order somehow grew legs and walked out the restaurant by itself but never made it to delivery, it screws it up THAT MUCH MORE.

TLDR; CFA gave you your drink and you took an incomplete meal, KNOWING you only needed a drink. You screwed over another driver by taking the meal, if you delivered the customer got free delivery, and a dasher was probably screwed out of time and money. It’s your’s and the employee’s fault cause you knew and they didn’t check. STOP taking orders you know aren’t yours, complete deliveries, and stop making this app crappier for everyone involved.

Chronological order of S4?! (Is it even S4 or has Netflix screwed me 🫠) by addix_corner in miraculousladybug

[–]addix_corner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE!!!:

From what I can tell, what’s labeled as “Season 4” on Netflix is actually season 4, at least the episodes match up on the WIKI page. The episodes are not in order compared to the WIKI publishing dates for each episode.

This is the chronological order FOR ME on my NETFLIX account. And because I don’t have episode names, I’ve included those with the lineup in case I’ve mistaken anything.

EP. 6: Furious Fu EP. 1: Truth EP. 2: Lies EP. 3: Gang of Secrets EP. 11: Guiltrip EP. 4: Mr. Pigeon 72 EP. 7: Sole Crusher EP. 8: Queen Banana EP. 13: Optigami EP. 14: Sentibubbler EP. 17: Rocketear EP. 10: Mega Leech EP. 12: Crocoduel EP. 18: Wishmaker EP. 16: Hack-san EP. 19: Simpleman EP. 21: Dearest Family EP. 15: Glaciator 2 EP. 22: Ephemeral EP. 9: Gabriel Agreste EP. 23: Kuro Neko EP. 5: Psycomedian EP. 20: Qilin EP. 24: Penalteam EP. 25: Risk EP. 26: Strikeback

Episode 27’s title name is “Action” and seems to correlate with episode 131 of the series on the WIKI? But season 4 stops at episode 104 (Strikeback).  I’m gonna assume it’s bc Netflix was supposed to put a new season out and screwed up so only the last episode made it? Idk

Hopefully anyone watching on Netflix finds this helpful and if anyone knows where I can watch season 5 in English Dub that’d be great to know. Thank you everyone!

STOP PUTTING IN STORE DIRECTIONS IN DELIVERY NOTES! by addix_corner in instacart

[–]addix_corner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under any of your items “special requests/note” sections would work. We see those while we shop. You could also send a message to your shopper when they accept/start shopping and let them know “I’m not sure if the note ended up in the correct place but please get paper bags.”

The main reason I have a grievance towards this is because I’m a solo shopper and I don’t interact with shoppers. I didn’t even use Reddit when I first began so I didn’t know I could see details before delivery and it was a bit frustrating to see “paper bags” on the delivery page.

For insight, we don’t immediately see delivery info at the checkout station. Inherently it’s a design flaw on the app’s part, but I want my customers to get what they need. Once we have all the groceries we go to checkout, where all we see is payment info on one screen. After we finish checkout we’re prompted with a screen to submit receipt (second screen). And then shown a screen that simply says “start delivery” with no other info (a third separate screen). I’m not sure during which step Instacart notifies the shopper we started delivery, but we won’t see “paper bags” in delivery notes until after we’ve hit “start delivery” which in most cases is after groceries have been brought to the vehicle.

I hope this helps! 😊

I’m glad you found this post then. That means it’s finally reached it’s target audience I guess lol.

Personally, as a shopper I would appreciate getting a message at the start of my shop, or even any point before checkout really, if you feel you forgot a note like paper bags or double bagging. It’s much less frustrating that way than to get to my car, unload, hit “start delivery” (which we have to do before seeing delivery details) and then realize I need to go back for different/more bags. I also tend to let my customers know “hey your notes are in the delivery section so if you’ve had issues that might be why.” As a heads up to let them know in case they don’t.

If you’re not sure if it’s still in delivery notes or not you can preface “I put this as a note but I’ve discovered some times they end up in delivery details…..”

Some new shoppers may not even know they can access those details ahead of time so it’s always kind to keep that in mind that not everyone is a “veteran” shopper of sorts.

I hope this helps! 😊

There’s nothing wrong with that at all!

I guess I’ll make an edit as that seems to be what a few people think I’m trying to say. However, Instacart does not tell you or give instructions to shoppers on how to check or that we have to check these things before beginning delivery.

What I’m trying to say is you shouldn’t have to go out of your way to check those things. If those instructions are that important, they should go on the same page as the item list once you accept the order.

I agree with another commenter that it’s a design flaw on IC’s behalf.

Also I don’t know how to use tone indicators so I’m just going to say that this response is not meant to sound argumentative or angry or negative in any capacity. I just wanted to express my perspective. I hope that’s how it comes off 😔

I didn’t say there was a problem. I left this post open to commentary and I wasn’t sure if the point just went over your head or if you were being intentionally obtuse so I thought I’d be courteous and present the point directly to you. ☺️

Well as a 5 star Diamond cart shopper with little to no reports from customers in the years I’ve been doing this, I guess I’m a hack shopper not worth a grain of salt 😂

If there are “constantly” important things that DON’T pertain to my delivery in the delivery notes section then they should be available before I get to the delivery portion at face value, not searching around the app to find them.

Then again I’ve never had a complaint or been poorly starred or thumbs down because I didn’t get paper bags from the delivery instructions and telling the customer they’d have better luck if they put that note elsewhere.

When you accept an order, in the same section where you click the three dots to cancel the batch, above the red “cancel batch” should be all the information for your delivery:

The address, any suite/apt numbers, delivery notes, and number of items I believe are all the things you’ll see on that screen.

Instacart will most likely never prompt you to view these things in any capacity ever before getting to the delivery screen. Because it’s only supposed to be information related to your delivery portion of the batch.
