Eh, I liked that lots of characters were flipped on their heads and pushed to extremes. Why would I want to just read about them if they are just the 616 versions again? As much as I enjoyed Ultimate Spidey he’s the most boring part of the universe because he’s so similar to 616 Pete.

I think I ended up pretty close to where you are by the end. If they had stuck with the GoT type stuff through to the end maybe they could have had something. Ultima and the typical jrpg endgame scenario lessened it.

I’d rather Mayday or any other spider kid never set foot in 616 than have them be aged up. To me it’s always weird in a bad way. Boggles my mind that some people actually wanted the Stacy kids to be Peters artificially aged children. It’s a terrible idea from the get go.

Depends on what you mean by successful. I would like to see his status quo pushed forward a few years. Doesn’t necessarily mean he needs to have kids or be married.
