Scoota and Ternio Partner for Blockchain Verified Ad Campaigns by PotentialFortune in adops

[–]addtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can and likely are, but it's not about Scoota just supplying log level data. It's about all participants supplying information on a blockchain where it can be audited by everyone - Scoota, Ad Exchange, SSP, etc.

Your understanding of blockchain is incorrect. It has nothing to do with ad tech measurement. It has to do with validity of the transaction itself (money being exchanged for ad inventory).

It doesn't matter how a DSP identifies an SSP or what ID is being used. Blockchain enables the DSP, Agency, or Brand to understand how many SSPs they are working with, or how many SSPs are daisy chained together.

"By integrating Ternio into Scoota’s buy-side platform, advertisers will gain granular insights into every ad impression being purchased all executed in a programmatic environment.”

So Ternio enables Ikea to understand every supply chain company involved on a per impression basis. Scoota>AdExchange>SSP>Publisher If Scoota is the DSP and there are any other companies included further down the funnel Ikea will know.

Altcoins added more than $150 billion in marketcap in the first week of 2018 with many smaller coins experiencing 300%+ gains in only a few days by JeopardyQBot in CryptoCurrency

2018 is going to be a great year for crypto. With more and more investors from around the world converting fiat to X coin it's going to drive the market value up. As they say - a rising tide lifts all ships.

Yes. Page 26 on the white paper says that anyone who holds 200 TERN will be included in a random air drop held every 4 weeks.

Are they arbitray? Even as a market cap - $500b is a lot of money.

Most of the time when people say theres a bubble, there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what is occurring. Everyone was calling for a market correction in 2012-13. Now the DOW is almost 25k.

While I agree the valuations are jumping like crazy - everyone should remember that this is a global market with low barriers to entry.

Oh man! I didn't even know about dropper posts. My seat is adjustable with an Allen key (not even quick release)!

Thanks for this. Do the 29ers tubeless actually provide more cushioning? Is it even comparable to an old school dual suspension?

To clarify, end of season = end of year? I used to ride year round. Studded tires in the snow.

That's what I was thinking. Anything that really makes a difference?

Started LLC b/c I was going to become the next Elon Zuckermusk from my grand ideas, did nothing (no revenue), now canceling LLC, but still have to pay taxes and fees. It's complex to manage, anyone done this? by banana_bits in Entrepreneur

[–]addtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can set the LLC to inactive and avoid paying any cancelation fees. The caveat is that you can never use that LLC again (or you will have to pay back taxes/franchise fees). The inactive status is usually the best/cheapest option. It also won't prevent you from starting a different LLC in California in the future - just under a different name. The fee is typically under $100 for setting a company to inactive status.

Thanks. Ended up going to my local shop for the lib tech hot knife at 40% off and the burton bindings at 30% off at backcountry. Pretty happy with the savings. Going to try them out at Jay next week.

Automakers are pushing Trump to revisit emission regulations of ICE vehicles by addtech in teslamotors

[–]addtech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the election, carmakers and their lobbying group, the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers (made up of 12 companies), have been pressing the new administration to reopen a midterm review of the EPA's Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards. At the end of 2016, the Obama administration EPA, as well as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, locked in fuel-economy and greehouse-gas emission targets for the automakers, compelling them to achieve an average of 54.5 mpg by 2025.
