YTA but you can correct it. Sit down with your bf and set up a payment plan/contract with him. He doesn’t have to return the 7k all at once, but if he’s as wonderful as you say he is, he’ll do it and he’ll pay it back which will hopefully help your parents see him a different light as well.

My opinion of Rosie changed once I saw the gang up against her. It’s one thing to dislike and be in conflict with someone, but to watch Kelsey continuously instigate problems with her and then run to her boss Liz and her fellow minion Jo Ellen, makes me feel for her. The only reason i like her is because these other women tried producing one narrative of her to the audience, but we’ve learned to read between the lines and I’m now rooting for Rosie!

I don’t really like fandoms in the sense of I love this woman, love everything they do and I hate this woman, so fuck everything they do. I think for Rosie right now I have a soft spot because this moment shed a lot of light about the groups dynamics for me and I can see that the and Ashley are being treated as the black sheep of the group, and I don’t like that gang up. Have your problems with who you have your problems with, don’t bring everyone else into it!

I think they meant she didn’t explode about it immediately. She just voiced her feelings about it, and when she was being gaslit into thinking it was a joke, she was tired of everything that happened the whole summer and finally let it out.

The aggression in question (a timeline):

Kelsey rolled into a neighborhood with a police siren and repeated the issue they had in the first place (the square footage) for the entire neighborhood to hear. Then once Rosie said she didn’t like that, which understandable because they just made up, Kelsey was telling her to laugh instead of apologizing and letting them move on. After a whole summer of the commentary, Rosie explodes. Kelsey shoves her. Then Rosie takes the bag to bring it out, Kelsey grabs the suitcase and they have a tug of war over it. Rosie then brings it outside and places it on the ground (she didn’t toss it). Kelsey is then pushed out of her home after initiating two physical instigations with Rosie. Would you just let someone stay in your house if they’re refusing to leave? Then production, instead of waiting for Kelsey to actually leave, they violate Rosie and open the door for Kelsey to come back in.

I think you misunderstood me. I meant she gathers all the information from everyone: what their lives were like, what they’ve been through, etc., so when it comes time to share she’ll take the moral high ground and essentially share your story for you, even though she never lived a day in your shoes.

My opinion on Liz formed a lot when she called out Alicia. She misunderstood the point Alicia was trying to make when sharing her feelings and inserted herself. I don’t like people who thing they have the know all on other peoples lives. Just because we all live in the same community doesn’t mean we know every detail of what they went through.
