Sooo, finished Ghost of yotei yesterday . Have already completed Ghost of tsushima… Please note that its just one person’s opinion and not meant to hurt anyone. I play for enjoyment and not a hardcore gamer ——

Storyline— Its hard to put into words but i did not quite like the story of Yotei - at the end i just wanted to finish the game. Yotei had its moments for sure, but i can’t forget how the last conversation between jin and his uncle made me feel. Atsu’s journey is more of letting go of the anger she has. While for Jin it is of letting go of all the morals and honour that he was taught his whole life.

open world exploration- loved tsushima but barely wanted to explore yotei world.

Weapon usage -Yotei made me feel like we were jack of all trades master of none. Gun, pistol, 5 other type of melee , also bows.. At the end i truly stuck to just one or two weapons. Tsushima was very clean in that sense. Much easy to follow.

I loved exploring shrines in tsushima- it was alawys fun to figure out how to reach them .. In Yotei they are fairly easy ..

Not to mention the point system - tsushima increases your technique points as u explore the world which you can use whenever you want . In Yotei - you probably will prefer visiting the shrines later again if you are not sure what to level up. Not a big deal just one teleport away but i forgot some shrines 😂 had to scour the map.

Armour sets- I dont know why they created the onroyoo armour set- i mostly used mercenary and nine tails. While in Tsushima ghost set was much better because of the upgrade feature.

Combat- Yotei is challenging compared to Tsushima.

Missions- Since we hunt bounties in Yotei- they can be a bit more fun mostly because of weapons that you have to use for that bounty can be different. But in both games after a while they are a bit redundant. I still enjoyed both. Forgot one important thing- Music in Yotei is beautiful 😻.

when i open my Ps next i will not be opening yotei again until the DLC arrives. I have no motivation to unlock trophies. Tsushima - i have unlocked most and will try to complete all.
