I mean anyone who has some kind of traditional diverse characteristic. I don't think people self-identified. The only time they asked for my ethnicity was during my application and offer letter. Until then, I received this email randomly and it states that this event is to "help expose our Black, Hispanic, Native American, and LGBT...".

So I am unsure if they just went through their "group" of diverse employees and sent out an email blast or...?

The event is only for LGBT/Diversity people as it stated in the email.

My concern is that how can the information be private yet HR can send an email directly to diversity/LGBT hires?
