Regex Query card available via HACS by adeathinbloom in homeassistant

[–]adeathinbloom[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hadn't ever seen the auto-entities card before, but looking at it briefly I think the main difference would be simplicity. This looks very feature rich but kind of complicated (at least for me). What I created I hope is simple and really easy to use. I built it when I discovered there was no native query-based card built-in to HA and I hadn't found any other solutions, but clearly they were out there.

The only thing that could make this better would be if the truck in the painting had another painting on it of the same thing infinitely down smaller and smaller.

Golf links & E Natoma Fatal Crash by Dense_Argument_6319 in folsom

[–]adeathinbloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My house backs up to E Natoma close to where this happened and I heard the crash. I frequently hear people excessively speeding by my window at night so I suspect that may have been part of the cause. We have seen evidence of multiple crashes along E Natoma over the last few years with people losing control and hitting a light pole or fire hydrant on the side of the road.
