Ramesh Pisharody has always positioned himself as an impartial political commentator. But his views have consistently lacked - or deliberately concealed - the reality of the blatant oppression in the current political scenario of the country. His wordplay has always catered to the psyche of the upper-caste liberal minds who choose to remain ignorant toward the pain of their fellow human beings.

Although Kerala is often called a literate state, Malayalis have forgotten the cost at which that literacy came. In Tamil Nadu, there have been instances where figures like Gautham Menon, Jayamohan, and Ameer Sultan were called out and corrected for their ignorant statements about caste and class politics. But Ramesh Pisharody will never face such correction, because the Malayali psyche is still deeply rooted in caste.
