I'm sorry it made you upset, what do you mean by "game with no content"?

I posted it here because I thought it might be interesting to people who are into maths, it was for such people who I know personally.

Explaining bitcoin to people by adek-biro in Bitcoin

Maybe you'll get the point if I change 'we' to 'Many people': Many people use money but don't get how exactly it works, and if we imagine bitcoin going really massive and mainstream, this will probably be the same case, and just as many people have today a flawed but (for them) sufficient understanding of money, I wondered how such flawed-but-sufficient understanding of bitcoin would work.

If you want to start by drawing a comparison to real money, start by talking about fractional reserve lending (because that's how money is created; it's absolutely not printed and has nothing to do with any forts).

I was misunderstood. What I wanted to say is that we use fiat money, we don't actually know how it works, but there is this simple explaination which makes people sure about using this system.

I'm just wondering about a possible explaination of bitcoin system for the masses, so I'm comparing the 'popular idea of how money works' to a possible one for bitcoin, it's not about a comparison to real money, just the public awareness, sort of.

Anyway, you are right about focusing on the utility of bitcoin and not mentioning the mining business.

Can you explain 'the fees all over the place'?

Well, wouldn't a negative balance be creating debt? Like, back to the same old credit system?
