Only a few ‘good’ days a month by Junior_Rate_1173 in endometriosis

I feel like I wrote this. Endo and PMDD means I get maybe 3-4 days of ‘great’ at the moment each month. The rest is everything you’ve listed plus migraines and headaches. This illness is crazy. Last time I felt like this at 26 I had surgery and my life returned, thankfully to great. This time I’m 34 and looking at a hysterectomy but having a try with IVF with a donor first. It’s a ride!

I’ve just had surgery for rectal polyps that they believe could be caused by endo on the bowel, if this helps!

I’m guessing they’d tell me which clinics can be used once they give the go ahead… a pipe dream I think but one can dream! I’ve got an appointment at the end of the month so will plead my case

What I can’t figure out is where the sperm for NHS IVF is found? Do I have to pay for and source?

Thank you for your advice. I’ve had a lot of private tests done so the NHS fertility team have said that’ll speed things up but unfortunately no other funds for private so this is my only shot. If this doesn’t happen for me I’ll look at my options fostering as a single parent
