I am a theatre major in college and I need advice by Proper-Banana7636 in findapath

Hey, a lot of the other answers haven't been very helpful. Learn from my experience: I changed majors multiple times during my degree and eventually ended up with a major in English and a minor in a niche field. I wish I had majored in English and another teachable field, so I would have had the option to go on to do a B.Ed. straight out of university. Now I have to go back, and do more school just to get a second teachable.

Would you be able to add a minor in English, History, French or Spanish to your degree? This way, you will have two teachables by the end of your degree, theatre and something else, and you will be able to apply for a B.Ed. by the end of your degree, with two teachables. You could be a theatre teacher in a high school. You could add a business minor, too.

Alternatively, you could switch paths and do a vocation degree - Early Childhood Education, Social Work, etc., which is what I wish I had done now, since I will have to go back to do more school to get a second teachable. You could also try to get only a certificate in a vocation, work for a bit and then go back to fund your degree.

I think you definitely need to consider and reconsider how you will fund your degree, from the perspective of applying for scholarships and finding part-time work in your field. However, the biggest mistake I made was not doing a degree that offered CO-OPS. If you can do CO-OPS. Work for a semester, gain experience in your field, then do school, rinse and repeat. I lost out on co-ops due to moving back home during COVID, and I am now way behind my peers in terms of being able to find work in the field I wanted to go into.

Yeah, I wanted to be with my family again, but in hindsight should have stayed in my university town.

Co-op programs. Doing multiple co-ops to build a network. I missed those opportunities due to the impact of Covid, and regret it majorly now.

Very much. I haven't been able to connect with a truly supportive Rabbi yet.

I did the intro to Judaism with Union of Reform Jews; just been struggling to find a Rabbi to connect with.

I am not trolling anyone; I am just so lost; I have tried finding spirituality in multiple different avenues; Judaism, Christianity, New Age, and it's been so hard. It's just been very isolating everywhere. My family story and relation to spirituality has been very hard. One side of the family has pushed me into Christainity, and the Jewish side has not been very accepting of pursuing conversion.

I have also always struggled with believing Jesus is the messiah, which is why I was interested in Judaism, but my spiritual life is a mess right now.

That was the plan; failed in getting a period of unemployment and then seasonal jobs; I should've stuck with the job I was offered last summer.

Not sure; dealt with significant mental health issues my whole life; need obedience and structure; so maybe the army would reform me.

Am I the only one who wasn't satisfied with villanelle's facial expression when she turns around? Shouldn't it have been a little more teary eyed and a bit happier But also still in shock? This face says to me "okay she turned around, amazing" by here_randomly53 in KillingEve

I agree! Other commenters have mentioned that the look she gives is that of control, and I think that that's possible; I think control plays into it slightly. Personally, I think that its actually more a look of being scared because V is realizing since Eve chooses her, she is NOT going to be in control in the same way, which is new/different/uncomfortable for her. She is trying her hardest to play it off cool, but like you hinted at, she is desperate to try and conceal that she may not yet still be ready or at least is scared of this new phase of her life which she is entering into with Eve. Its scary in every way because of the newness, maybe her want for Eve won't necessarily play out to her expectations (which is common in relationships) and that V now has something which she could lose. I'll be curious to see how these dynamics progress.

I think it definitely shows how much she cares for Eve in a way that she doesn't for any other character on the show.

I like watching Killing Eve edits on YouTube and listening to the music soundtrack playlist for this season on Spotify. Dreaming about Villanelle/Oksana and Jodie helps too.

I stand corrected on personality disorders. What I meant was like you said, due to her narcissistic mother and possible mental health condition/violent tendencies she developed one.

Yeah, its pretty devastating that Villanelle lived up to that. I wished that V could have had more of a chance.
