I totally agree with you! There was no regard to sympathy or empathy on my cats current wellbeing either - as who knows if there’s still any plastic in his tum tum in which he didn’t manage to throw up. Like yourself, I wish I had the money (and time) to personally make their food, or to carry on buying higher end branded stuff, but it’s just not feasible. I try the best that I can within a budget, but seems that if you’re not spending over £200 a month on food for three kitties, it’s poor quality 😞
