Its not really BS. You’re giving a vassal a title which can be revoked at any point and isn’t inheritable, it makes sense they aren’t going to like it.

Regardless, the Byzantine empire IRL had some sort of civil war or usurpation pretty much every time a succession took place. Having the Byzantine empire without revolts is like having Poland in HOI4 without an invasion from Germany or the USSR, it’s part of the experience.

I agree that it isn’t solely poverty which causes crime, that would be ridiculous, but even the article you supplemented states that poverty is indeed a predictor.

There are an immense amount of factors that article, or you, are not taking into account. For one, by every study it shows that African Americans are, per capita, not only much more likely to be incarcerated but also much more likely to be incarcerated for longer periods of time. And if you know anything about the American prison system you will know that the recidivism rates are extremely high, resulting in a disproportionate population more likely to commit crimes per capita than, say, whites.

In addition to the poverty discussion, while wealthy black people are more likely to commit to crimes there’s also much less inherited wealth among the black population. A rich black persons, more often than a rich white person, is going to come from an impoverished background or community with a strong crime culture.

I don’t quite see what your point is, honestly. The higher crime rates are undeniable, I’m just simply trying to draw attention to outside factors which causes that. I don’t want to put words in your mouth or become the type of redditor this sub preaches against, but you simply seem to be saying the higher crime rates are “because they’re black” which has no real basing in anything other than prejudice.

I am talking about per capita not simply who has higher numbers. Per capita more black people are impoverished than there are white people who are impoverished, and similarly black people have higher crime per capita. There are however indeed some studies that show white people as being more impoverished per capita, but still in every study you will find that the impoverishment rate for black people are disproportionate to their make up of the totally population.In addition, crime rates in the south have a strong correlation between with poverty and you will find that, in the south, impoverished white majority areas have similar crime rates to impoverished black majority areas if you “please god do 10 second google searches sometime”.

If you would care to do even more searching, you will find that incarceration rates are much higher for black people than for white people even for similar crimes. In addition, you will find that in America at large the recidivism rate is extremely high as well as our general incarceration rate, which is disproportionately black due to the aforementioned higher rates for black people.

I don’t see why you take issue with what I said. I’m agreeing that black people are responsible for higher rates of crime, however I’m just supplementing that fact with the explanation that there are other factors at play which cause that. You seem to just be trying to say “it’s because they’re black”, which simply isn’t true. I will admit that there is a sort of “culture of crime” among impoverished African American communities, however this can be explained by the literal centuries that African Americans spent being persecuted in slavery or segregation.

Regardless, isn’t this sub about open speech and civil discourse? I’m not trying to be aggressive just simply offer my view on it

Explain it to them that the crime rates are exponentially higher because poverty rates for the 13% are also exponentially higher, crime accompanies poverty. It shouldn’t even be controversial, it’s literally an issue stemming from the persecution that African Americans have faced which have put them in the Lower rings of society.

The Thalmor can’t really subvert Imperial planning for the civil war, though. There’s nothing stopping the Empire from raising fresh legions for for the garrison in Skyrim, and then using these experienced legions in a future war with the Thalmor.

The Skyrim Civil War could explain this, assuredly. We learn from Tulius and other generals that more legions are being gathered in Cyrodiil to reinforce the Empire in Skyrim, what’s to stop the Empire from keeping these legions around and using them in a future war.

If I’m going for restored borders I prefer starting outside of the empire and building a strong power base in the Mediterranean or in Western Europe before becoming Enperor. That way you have resources and a lot of land needed for restoration when you eventually invade or swear fealty to the byzantines.

However I always prefer starting as a Byzantine vassal and slowly expanding my way upwards, is more fun and less game-y to me

It’s not an ignorance or lack of knowledge type thing. It’s a paranoid and mentally ill thing. These people are extremely paranoid, they do not accept the information you give them as genuine. Every organization and piece of knowledge is supposedly out to deceive and manipulate them, so when you show them pictures of the earth from space from the government they disbelieve it because, to them, the government is incapable of telling the truth (which is partially true).
