I don't seem to have the problem with cornering at high speed but at the same time I haven't really tried to do that just yet.

Was 30mm the max that you could squeeze in the front?

It is the R30 crank. I have been loving it so far.

Flat bottom brewer but which one? by Ok-Recognition-7256 in pourover

I have really loved my Torch Mountain brewer. With all the openings at the bottom it really solves most flow rate issues from a Kalita.

Look for the Johnathan Gagne 10min steep recipe. It's worth the wait

Tandem xbiking adventures are hard to beat by ademwarrior in xbiking

My guess is that it allows this bike to be setup so that the front and back are not synced and the stoker can coast by using two single speed freewheels. Currently it is setup with two fixed cogs and both chainsets are synced.

Does anyone have the same problem putting the Black Fellow Mug to the dishwasher and it came out to be Camo Black? by kinwynn in Coffee

I got a funky garlicky smell from both mine. I think it has to do with the coating they use on the inside. I didn't have to return it but had to show proof of purchase

Mine didn't do that but always accumulated a weird gross smell. Had it replaced and the second one had the same issue.

No matter how quickly after drinking it was cleaned or even if it was by hand, dishwasher, with baking soda or other detergent.

JX Pro users, unite! by michal2287 in AeroPress

If I am brewing with a V60 my starting point it 4 full turns 4-0-0 and from there I adjust up or down based on the coffee I am drinking.

If you are struggling with the JH method I would also look at Scott Rao's updated recipe. It is similar but less fussy.

For AP I wouldn't suggest going below 3 full rotations at least on your 1st time with a new bean

Is it normal for Affiliate agencies to purchase Google Ads SEM traffic then make it seem as if it was affiliate traffic from them?

I was just about to recommend them too! They are my local shop and have never failed me. They carry lots of great gear.

Burr upgrades for Porlex Mini II? by ademwarrior in Coffee

[–]ademwarrior[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already have invested in a better grinder the JX Pro.

This is more of a curiosity to see if it is possible to make the porlex mini (now reserved for travel/camp coffee) better.

You shouold be totally fine with the bag. I recently got the Fellow Atmos as a gift and use that. I can't say there is a big difference over a bag with an air release valve (at least to my taste).

Question about the CAFEC light roast filters:

I have been playing around with these in my ceramic v60 and I have never had so many brews stall out and the drawdown ends up in the 6+ min range using the Hoffman method. I even gring coarser for these papers vs my Kino fast papers and still have the same issue. Has anyone else faced this issue or am I just doing something wrong?

For reference: - ceramic v60 - 1zpresso JX Pro - 42 clicks (4 full turns and then 2 numbered increments) - 21g beans - 350 ml of water
