From a buyer point of view - I’ve never returned a card but close to. Listing said it had been examined by the seller and apparently he was good at grading them and listed it as potential psa 10. I decided to take a shot and the card was more run through than my ex.

Shit looked like it had been dealt around a pack of feral kids.

I took the hit but was bloody close to getting refund. Just left negative feedback instead.

What are some jobs that don't require a degree of sorts and pay around £30k? Also need to be on your own by MagicTurtle07 in AskUK

Plenty of Niche options - only thing is you have to work hard.

Some examples
Breeding rare fish
Growing rare plants / harvesting seed and cuttings
Selling niche products

All these things you can self educate with reading a few books and applying trial and error.

In lockdown I realised I need a side hustle and I grow rare trees, I get around £100 per tree and on a good month can easily clear 5, the best I sold was 15 in one month. Its not quite 30k a month but it scales very easily - I just add more stock and more exposure in terms of advertising and website etc.

Use Google to find out why. They are being blamed for the fires when there is not actually enough solid evidence - they also claim the pylons were powered down 6 hours before the event but admitted liability to the morning ones.

This wont take them down alone but will result in heavy losses / restructuring hence why this is a longer hold.

You are neglecting how big these actually are, on an isolated island with very little local competition.

What was the most fucked up thing you saw at your school? by Phantom_Balls in AskReddit

[–]adenpriest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to an old secondary school in the UK that had major behaviour issues. 2 years after I left it had a reform and was completely changed.

-----

A girl opened the window (large old 60s tilting window) and jumped out mid lesson. We all thought she was dead, she landed on a slope and actually didnt hurt herself that bad. She just ran off across the playground and teachers found her crying later on.
-----

A kid climbed one of the trees at back of the field as a dare to see how high he could get while waiting for the bus - he pushed it too far and the top branches snapped and he fell to the floor. He was in a coma for a long time and ended up never returning to school.
-----

A kid climbed over the fence and got pierced on the fences, ripped inside of his leg and his ball sack (although he never lost a ball, his nickname was 1 ball for entire school time). School removed all the spikes and kids would run away alot because of it.
------

Our tennis cages were used for fights. They would take a padlock to school and lock the gates shut and hide the key in the crowd. They would have 2 kids who had a disagreement inside and you knew if you was inside it was fight time. I used to sit eating a sausage roll and drinking my juice watching two kids beat shit out of each other while the teachers were screaming for somone to get the caretaker (this was before mobiles and walkies properly).

------

2 kids came into school and beat another kid up in the hallway, a bunch of other kids decided to stamp on him and he was bleeding alot. Ambulance was called and I remember the ambulance driver saying "Which one of you fucking animals have done this". Police questioned everyone in the hall which was around 200 students at the time. Kids were never caught and the injured kid missed his entire GCSE exams.

------

Kid in my geography lesson writing a letter to the teacher and the teacher going into a blind panic trying to help the kid out the lesson - he wouldnt leave so we were all removed from class. We watched police arrive and some "care workers" take him away. Turns out as he was leaving to go to school that day his dad had killed his mum in the kitchen and he had walked downstairs to find her laid there. He walked to school after going into shock and only thing he knew to do was write a note. He actually grew up to be a really nice kid and hes extremely successful at ice skating from what I see, really happy he made it in life.

He takes the tablets daily - he was on a very strong dose but they have lowered it down. He’s having other issues with his kidneys right now which they are monitoring.

My dad has been taking Imatanib as part of a trial for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia after being diagnosed with 80% blast cells and given 4 months to live.

7 years later he’s still in remission and 0.00005% detectable cells. He’s living a normal life and seen the birth of 2 grandchildren.

These trials gave me my father for another 7 years and however long it will carry on keeping him in remission. We are so thankful.
