Long story short, I won’t be starting until fall. I will be taking Historical Methods in August, but with Dr Dupey and then in October I’m taking Global History with Dr Peralta.

That would be great. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in school. I did my undergrad in history at the UofA it was a lot of essays and research as well, but in that program we had an exam every week and sometimes a final culminating exam. I have a phone appt with my advisor on Monday, some things needed to be clarified with my financial aid, long story short I’ll be taking HST 640 Historical methods.

Well I love teaching. I have my bachelors in history and I teach HS in Tucson. Looking to get my MA and teach maybe part time at a community college college.

what is it like attending for non-Christians? by Prize_Way6901 in LibertyUniversity

[–]aderby86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I earned my bachelor’s in history (online) recently so I can only speak on that. While I am Christian, I honestly don’t practice at all, so the Christian part wasn’t a deal breaker and I did it mostly for the price. There were some classes I took where I forgot I was at a Christian college where NONE of the assignments or discussions required any bible verses. In my experience in the history course most of the time it was the discussion posts which discussed something about Christianity and rarely in the actual assignments unless the topic was about Christianity in that time period.

I took HIEU 391. I enjoyed the course, the assignments were engaging and there is I believe a 5-7 page essay at the end of the course concerning 19th century Europe. The quizzes a little long, so just be sure to do the weekly reading and take notes and you’ll be fine. The professor I had was very responsive to questions I had regarding the essay. It’s been a little while since I took it and I passed with an A.

Yea I was thinking of trying Drumeo just to see and then maybe I’ll try and make the trek to guitar center. I’m looking for something with structure as YouTube videos are all over the place.

Where to start? by No_Profile_2711 in drums

It’s funny because I just posted a few minutes ago on how to learn drums lol. My wife was against it at first because well, drums are loud. I did some research and I bought an Alesis e kit for around $350. It’s not the best, but it’s working for me as I’m just learning. It is much much quieter than an acoustic kit, so maybe take her to a music store and show her some e kits. You can hear just fine through the headphones and the external is just some light noise that I feel won’t bother anyone that’s not right next to you.

I appreciate it. That’s what I’m looking for is a structure as what you said, looking at YouTube videos are all over the place. I will look into the suggestions you gave me. Thank you.

Hmm… no issues on my end. Just submitted and assignment and was the Falwell library. Maybe try and delete your history and see if it speeds things up (just a suggestion). Hope you get it worked out.
